Dodge Morningstar black panther is just as good of a strategist as Batman. He can do a lot of things with prep. I can't really think of any examples other than stalling God emperor Doom and retaking wakana from doom in doomwar off the dome since it's been a while. Black Panther is also just as intelligent as Bruce if not more. Just like Batman he has contingencies, one for galactus for example.

We've got Black Panther with claws that can cut through anything, he knows pretty much every form of martial arts plus he is physically stronger, quicker and probably has more stamina than batman due to the heart shaped herb that enhances him to supethuman levels. Black Panther's claws are so powerful, they can rip clean through an armored tank with one swipe. And you have him fighting with no morals?? BP should win this one hands down. Batman will get decapitated or ripped in half in only a matter of time.

If they put Black Panther into a Death Battle, you can be sure they'll learn everything you know about Black Panther and a lot you didn't know. Then, they'll create an awesome animation with carefully chosen voice actors, and he'll win or lose on his merits.

tyrrellgilmore Only in the 2017 movie. In the book the fear just makes people taste better, and the Losers' Club needed a specific ritual to defeat IT. That said, the book version of IT could be form-locked and injured through belief/imagination (the inhaler spraying battery acid) and becomes vulnerable to whatever the form it takes is weak against - for example, transforming into a werewolf made IT weak to silver.

I love how most people make the argument about " Batman with prep time can undoubtedly tank BP". Lol Like BP wouldn't have endless contingency plans ready at his disposal for Batman... He knows his own weaknesses better than anyone and can use them to lure Batman in and take him out first. Don't forget that being a strategist and tactician was two of the earliest core characteristics BP had in his comic book debut back in April of 1966 in Fantastic Four #52... Meanwhile it wasn't officially canonized for Batman to have the same ability till 1986 in Frank Miller's "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" Miniseries. BP for the Win.

Black panther has vibranium claws a vibranium spear vibranium daggers and after a certain point married storm and once fought wolverine to a stand still and is the king of a country. If you didn't know vibranium is a metal that when vibrating can redirect any force applied to it back at the attacker. This is best represented in captain Americas shield which in all cases can only be destroyed by reality altering attacks. I doubt any of Batman attacks except for the batmobile can put a scratch on black panther

It's a good fight. Black Panther can also adjust the frequency/power of his energy daggers to match those of Captain Marvel's near cosmic level energy blasts. So it's not just the anti-metal claws that can slice through admantium. He has short range teleportation, cloaking and tech for generating holograms for misdirection as well. So he as a good amount of standard tech and defense (and defense via offense) to prevent it from simply being a "how much damage can the suit soak up before he catches Batman" scenario. Both of their defenses would be put to the test but I think Panther's offense would overcome Batman's defense first.

This is how I see it: Black Panther = Dr Doom. Dr Doom > Batman. Black Panther > Batman. In a straight up random encounter Batman is not even hurting him so that's a stomp. With prep on both sides Batman will be able to hurt him but Black Panther still wins, he's just as intelligent and just as good of a strategist if not better. If only Batman had prep it becomes an extremely close fight in which it could go either way but that wouldn't be fair. This is all in scenarios where Batman can't use the hellbat.

While I agree that Black Panther is really a more technologically and martially advanced version of Batman, but I think there is a flaw in his suit that could allow Batman to beat. I might be wrong, but i'm pretty sure Vibranium absorbs sound waves and kinetic energy not redirect it so if Batman were able enough energy on to BP's vibranium suit it would explode killing BP in the process.

If you get to doing this one, it probably really will turn out to be batman, due to the absurd amount of materials he has appeared in (with good & bad showings). It is still a pretty tough call though; both love their prep time.

Black panther can equip a electric whip which can slice and burn objects and opponents. He also can equip a vibranium spear that shoots energy blasts and he has a bunch of bombs that are full of kinetic energy like how gambit throws his cards and it explodes. He also can shoot energy blasts from his hands and daggers. His daggers are meant to cut through anything and he can also control the spirits of necropolis to aid him in battle. Black panther can also teleport and go invisible and he can use force fields and he also has energy nets that can trap people

What puts Black Panther over the top is the fact that he has all of the strength and knowledge of ALL the Black Panthers that ruled before him. That's 10,000 years-worth of strength, knowledge and battle experience that Black Panther now has. We're talking about Black Panther now knowing 10,000-years worth of battle tactics used to defeat invading ARMIES, armies that tried to invade and conquer Wakanda (which had never been conquered because all the previous Black Panthers were able to defeat all the invading armies). Not to mention that Black Panther is Bast's personal champion and her Black Panther, because when Bast made him the King of the Dead, she said to him in Fantastic Four #608 "Every Panther that has ever lived, their strength, their knowledge is now yours. Every battle fought, every battle won. Unbeaten. Unbroken. A crown of the unconquered. A king of kings. My champion. My Black Panther." Batman's not overcoming all of that.

I notice people are talking about Vibranium and strength level. But most are forget what real strength Batman really posses and how he fights with his enemies. If Batman are has time and prepare himself for upcoming battle he will exploit his opponents weaknesses use any tactics and strategy to counter them. With this i need to remind that Batman able to defeat Justice League with his strategy with the help of his gadgets. In comics Batman designed this armor to fight against the Justice League that are called Justice Buster and his plan was succesfull. If we give Batman to be fully prepared against Black Panther, I might add this will not be the easy fight but hardest one.
