love this little light, it provides a good amount of light and has more than enough run time to get through a power outage. The readylight features a large solar panel, which will charge the battery from dead to full in about 8 hours. I happen to recharge my light more often, so I only need an hour or two before the unit is fully recharged. I love almost everything about it, except that it lacks any sort of battery status or solar charging indicator. I have to guess as to the state of charge by how bright or dim the light output is. I've had this light for well over 2 years now and have found it to be absolutely reliable. I can leave it for months without sunlight and its ready to go or I can just leave it on a window sill for a year and know it will be charged.
Pros:
affordable emergency item ($20-$30)
reliable (had since 2012 without any issues)
output (not the brightest on the market, but far from dimmest)
user replaceable battery
size
weight
4 hours of bright light......closer to 24 of actual usable light
Cons:
single mode light (no flashing or secondary output modes)
no charging or battery status indicators
solar charging only (no usb or wall charger option)
very limited specs from manufacture
