So in an emergency situations What if the parents phone is on silent mode? how can the child reach out to them,is the a way that as soon as the call button is tap on the watch,it will automatically notify the parents with an alarm sound Even though their mobile phone is on silent or vibration. Just increase the emergency response time.

You can set any number, including the watch #, to be an emergency contact so alerts will get through.

Maybe I’m weird, but I didn’t want a fart gun, I wanted a way to call my kid and them call me, if you aren’t aware it has a “sounds” app that when opened plays a fart sound, the fart sounds play automatically when you open sounds, you don’t search it, it goes off. It can’t be removed, you can turn “silent mode” on which then means no sounds of any kind - including ring tones. I consider this a huge miss by Gizmo. How many parents want that feature? How many parents are thinking, as part of my kids watch, I want them to be obnoxious and disruptive. Not this one, huge miss!!

The charger is an issue on our Gizmo. It will say it is charged at 100% and it is not because if you look online, it is really only at, for example 5%. We’ve had continual problems with the charging aspect of this Gizmo.

Ive learned I have to play with it to make sure it says charging. Sometime I have to take on then off again. It should just use a regular phone charger for sure

My son has the exact same teal watch shown here. The charger is great. But my niece has the disney version and it is really hard to keep it on the charger. (I had to put my 3 inch thick textbook on top of it overnight! 😂)

I do find you have to align it perfectly on charger. There have been a few times we put it on and no charge until we adjusted it. They just need to use a normal phone charger!

We still use the watch every day for my youngest. We did get my oldest a phone, he is 12 so the watch seemed a bit too childish for him.

I have an odd question. My child's other parent purchased this device and is not very forthcoming about the capabilities. Can a parent ( guardian status on the watch) read the messages that are being sent to other contacts from their app? My child is curious, and so am I, about how private their messages are. Thanks.

We are still using it. He did smash the screen once and we had to use insurance to replace but we do still use it every day. Two big improvements would be a plastic screen that cant break and waterproofing. Verizon does make a protector case but it doesnt fit well

Have you figured out how to use the Quite Mode? Or School Mode? It says that they can not receive or call out or text but it seems to let them when its in Quite mode,
