To Jay Tee: Then -- I could have been a multi-millionaire considering what I went through in that company: The *direct talk* about my *accent,* pigmentation, nationality, and inferences to "preferences," let alone the body language, signs, symbols, blacklisting, mocking, snubbing, and more nasty political psychological tricks in the books, also allowing (encouraging) light-duty techs to create strife and distraction. I was placed as a mop-up boy in the Verizon Brooklyn garage to help a glorified light-duty tech acting, and to get her promotion. I didn't get paid for doing management work. I was directly referred to as lower than her.

I love to see employees win, especially when they get punitive damages. Too many supervisors on petty power trips don't respect the law or value disabled employees. Companies should stop supporting illegal discrimination. Maybe things will change when breaking the law costs employers enough to affect their bottom line (like this case).

@TVrating

@@ab00781 New York Human Rights Law has no cap on punitive damages. The lawsuit was filed in NY. States without laws against discrimination follow Title 7 (federal law) which has a cap on punitive damages. NY has it's own state law prohibiting discrimination.

@@TVrating Thanks! So here in Georgia, people get awarded millions all the time for job discrimination by a judge, but due to the federal cap they only keep. $300,000. I wonder if there are other damages not mentioned that allow them to keep more out of the millions they're rewarded?

I have filed an EEO complaint, which when doing so, I saved recordings, printed out documents containing threats, and even used the documents they tried to erase from history to rebut their statements which I proved all 4 written statements to be false. At this stage their attorney asked me to settle and I also have shared a video recording on KZbin of their internal EEO investigator taunting me and even admitting to altering 6 of my statements as she laughs and says "it will stay that way too!" When I told her I recorded it, her boss calls me screaming. Lol😂 the 3 basis of my claims are: discrimination, reprisal, and adverse action. Strangely they didn't dismiss or deny any of my claims because each one has a video recording displaying the employees name and number as solid evidence with a time and date stamp displayed. I've been granted a hearing and have 3 attorneys reviewing my details as I've spent $16500 so far. The agency I'm suing even sent people to home. When they realized they were clearly identified by my surveillance system on camera and also told I made a KZbin video showing who they are, and the exact day they were here at my home, again they've asked to settle but rejected every offer I've made. Do you have advice? I have recordings and even proved that management not only tried to erase the history of me filing an initial EEO before this one that's going to trial now, but they also lied about it on one statement, then admitted it on the 2nd as Ive printed both out from the RIO. The threats will not stop and I've turned recordings in to people from the NAACP, law students around the country, and even made several tapes, I'm giving out to random people to get my story out. This May sound crazy but I'll share it all with you. This is all proven and based initially on reprisal due to a protected act. They tried to erase all proof of my initial complaint but when they found that i printed it all out and even found the investigator, they're being very aggressive. Willl your firm handle my case? Again, they are not denying my allegations at all as the eeo portal documents show. Who was his attorney!!

I heard a rumor my former employer issued a payout due to some really foul things that happened in order to push me out of the work place. Then all the coworkers involved (unfortunately some family as well) all decided not to tell me and act like they didn't know who or where I was. Next thing you know I'm having my ID used at shelters and my own mother was assisting in facilitating some false documentation to make me look mentally incompetent so she could collect it.
@AstroAri504
@AstroAri504 Жыл бұрын
Then when it didn't work out, they all decided the best thing was to keep me living in the street without a job (because they trashed my reputation to the point where no one would hire me) in hopes that if enough time passed it'll go unclaimed. In that time frame I was consistently being poisoned, threatened, and many other cruel events. They even had hackers on deck to change the date and time at the library and my Google account so I would miss anything I scheduled. However when it's time for someone to set up some foolishness where they think I can be arrested they suddenly know who and where I am. But again, I could be wrong. The only people who know who and where I am are playing their part to the fullest and ensuring I continue to live in the street with absolutely nothing. And now that my car has been stolen the only ID is have is my cracked license. Of course I get the runaround when trying to file a police report.
