The problem with verlisify is that he can be right about cheating is wrong but it doesn’t excuse his poor behavior for all these years. He has attacked and harassed other creators in any effort further his own goals and has gotten into behavior he has wrongfully criticized others for. You can be right for the wrong reasons.

one thing I've noticed scrolling through comments is that people really emphasize "Wolfey is a CHEATER" when defending Verlis and like, guys, it truly isn't that deep. I'm sorry that hacking in pokemon causes you such distress.

i saw one of his videos just now, and I think it has more to do with the fact that like Wolfe wins thousands of dollars from these tournament, from actual legit players since they can't obtain the same pokemon as wolfe without cheating.

I understand the anger verlis has against Wolfe because of the cheating. I wouldn’t get mad with Wolfe for cheating in a nothing stakes game but it really gets under my skin when there’s a prize and legit players that spent months training practicing and researching lost to someone that had an unfair advantage. Still I understand the pushback against verlis because of his unlikable attitude and wolfe more charming charisma. I watch both and like more wolfe but it still bothers me and can’t see him as he always refers himself. The best Pokémon champ😢

Oh verlisify just likes to start drama with every single poketuber. A major case of this was with poketips, the one person who would go on to make a response to it and it would go back and forth. Verlisify is just a bad KZbinr who only really cares about starting drama so he can get more attention

Verlisify hated him for most likely cheating in Pokémon, something that is bad but not that bad, but he holds onto it for years and years despite Wolfey only mentioning him once, plus Verlisify has been called out on many pretty bad things.

I think the main reason isn't hate it's annoyance at the fact that glick is a proven cheater more than one KZbin creator has shown it and yet nothing is done. He just wants the justice but the community has been dead to long to care.

How has Wolfe been proven to be a cheater? Verlis has been going after prominent vgc players since 2011, he's even gone after Ray Rizzo calling him a cheater with 0 proof, I'm just trying to see what you're referring to exactly

@orangeinkling6681 Which part? Rays dream ball aegislash he used was hacked that he got from a friend of his even saying he got death threats because he was idolized. That's in wolfeyvgc video of how Ray rizzp became the three time champion. As for wolfeyvgc his raichu was a special event one that was 5 ivs and let's not forget the impossible 5 iv perfect 0 atk galarian moltress. Wolfey said he made a post asking fans to help even the time to soft reset for those odds impossible. Not to mention who now days in vgc is gonna commit to hours and months of soft resetting for ONE poke for a team? They are lazy they would rather gen it in true players now that know how to play the game get told they waist to much time breeding eggs for hours instead of playing on ladder. I've been playing since the beginning I'm not doubting the skills they have.

@@thomaslangford5039 the dreamball Aegislash can be explained by how the breeding mechanics work, if you breed a hacked mon with a legit and the mon will pass all checks and will be counted as legitimate, its a fault that tpci has acknowledged and since removed in the switch gamees, the aegislash's parent was indeed hacked no getting around that but the Aegislash he used was bred in game without external means hence why he was allowed to use it, scummy maybe but borderline negligible at the absolute worst, as for wolfe's raichu Itsabliss has already made a comprehensive guide on how to manipulate rng for static and gift pokemon only using ingame factors and even gone over how wolfe got his raichu specifically, if you know how the rng for natures and ivs work its easy to get the pokemon you want on your first attempt without genning a single thing

​@@thomaslangford5039This is entirely why Nintendo needs better anti-cheater systems, or even better yet just run an always-online kinda thing where all actions/changes are verified against the main server - this should help keep cheaters out and allow people who actually put time into raising legit pokemon to shine
