VERMILION RAINBOW TROUT - LEE'S FERRY - NMAKTIMA FLY FISHING

Was able to get away with Marcia and my parents to fish the epically beautiful vermilion cliffs of Lee's Ferry on the Colorado River. The start was tough (yes, I do occasionally blank as well). However, we were able to put the pieces together and find the fish. Come along and enjoy the awesome views and beautiful rainbows!

Great Vid Norm. I fished the Lee's Ferry back in '92 and had an amazing time. I took a 12 year hiatus from fly fishing and now getting back into it again. Great PSA on how to combat invasive species.

At 21:15 I mentioned it as the the eggstacy egg, which is the material. I think that is the the Peach color. Super easy egg to tie.

There are solid guide companies there. Cliff Dwellers has guides, as well as Lee's Ferry Anglers. Also, both services have boats for rent for a DIY experince. If its your first time out there, I do recommend hiring a guide through either services. Both have solid guides to learn from. Hope you are able to get out there and thanks for watching.
