Exeter City Centre! (2023)

A visit to the amazing city of Exeter on a bright and sunny day!
Exeter is a cathedral city and the county town of Devon, South West England. It is situated on the River Exe, approximately 36 mi (58 km) northeast of Plymouth and 65 mi (105 km) southwest of Bristol.
The city centre features two large shopping precincts in addition to the main high street, the first is the Guildhall Shopping Centre which (i think) dates from the 1970's, and Princesshay which was redeveloped between 2005 and 2007. Gandy Street is also nearby, and is known for being home to a number of small independent retailers and businesses. The Guildhall itself meanwhile, which has medieval foundations, has been claimed to be the oldest municipal building in England still in use.

Loved visiting Exeter 2017-22 until my daughter graduated from the University. I want to visit again this year.

When you walk from the bus depo the many empty shops on the left look a bit scruffy but once you get into the middle it's not to bad in the shopping town centre
