Yeah deep rock galactic is worse because stream controls spawn amount as well as what to spawn... it's at first fun untill they think continually spamming dreadnoughts is funny for nearly ten minutes.

the quality of this game wildly fluctuates every patch, but its definitely worth the 40$ when mods come out at the minimum

at the core of it the game is extremely solid. it scratches the LFD2 style itch that many have had while taking a unique spin on it. That being more gritty melee combat, player progression through leveling and acquiring loot, and more replayability with different characters that have their own set of skills, weapons, and traits. that said it does have its fair share of problems, like buggy AI, wonky hitboxes, terrible balance, but at the price tag of $30 it's well worth the money if you're the slightest bit interested in this type of game
