BARTON VT! may brook falls cottages are so beautiful and right on the lake. There's little mom and pop stores. Search the area first to find things to do, but it's calm and so beautiful. Definitely not as touristy​@@CarolineWorsley

It's about 25 mins from Newport and there's tons of stuff there!
