Vermont Walks - Quechee Gorge - A slow walk down Quechee Gorge Trail ・ 60fps ・ 4K

This is a different video than we normally do, just an easy walk down to the bottom of the Quechee Gorge trail.
Quechee Gorge is a 165 feet deep drop to the Ottauquechee River. We view it from the U.S. Route 4 bridge and then down one of the trails on the side. The gorge was formed by glacial activity approximately 13,000 years ago.

It stinks they put up that extra fencing…but Hartford was tired of closing down Route 4 as this became the place to commit suicide & it’s a long way down The cost of retrieving the victim & closing Route 4 to do it was just too much. It’s a lovely walk down but remember you have to go back up. Beautiful area.
