I just found this dude on an Oregon article. Ducks trying to recruit good this year! This kid is an amazing QB. Would be the pick for me if there ever was a shot at getting back to the championship. However they'll have an excellent running game with Freeman and Tyner. I think they're going to look more like the Seahawks than ever which is ironic given the similarities of the QB

Coming from a guy who has gone to every game he has played in at EWU, he's not cocky. It's confidence. He plays with poise and he throws one hell of a deep ball. He'll get the crowd pumped. Vernon will be Vernon. Not Mariota. He's a way better athlete than Lockie and the other QB's on the ducks roster. All the people saying he won't be a starter need to realize he wouldn't transfer schools to be a back up when he would break damn near every QB record at the FCS level if he played his final year at EWU. I'm excited about him coming to Oregon. I'm excited to see how he fits into our fast paced offense. However, I'm hoping he can tune up the accuracy because A) he's going to be playing in the Pac-12, with Higher caliber coverage. B) the way he runs with the ball not tucked away scares me with the speed of the Pac-12. Just hope he doesn't get cocky. The shoes he has to fill are impossible to fill, and just from the video he's a polar opposite to Mariota's humbleness. So lets see how it goes.

I agree with the second point. not as sure about the first. More accuracy is always wanted, but the two pac12 teams he played against got flat out torched. That includes UW, which was pretty talanted. Something like 1000 yards and 10+ combined td's kind of torched, mind you.
