I appreciate that you have this passion for fragrance that “being under the weather” does not stop you from creating your content. I’ve recently seen a video where the creator pointed out reasons not to trust a fragrance influencer….and while I agree with a lot of the things mentioned, there are YT influencers like you who consistently talk about your loved collection. They didn’t have to be new, most of them you bought with your own coins, most of them are difficult to find and sometimes even discontinued. You’re not all about marketing or getting sponsorship, you’re very honest about the scents that you like and dislike. No one EVER talks about Tova signature EDP and I only heard of it because a phlebotomist was wearing it and smelled phenomenal. I had to find out what it was and immediately ordered it from QVC for myself and my sister. It's a gorgeous soft musk.

A caveat, if I may ... yes TOVA, the OG formulation is a stunner! However, this is where I say ... go vintage. Not cheap but you can find the vintage formulation for a semi-reasonable price. I would avoid any bottle that says West Chester, PA, ... QVC headquarters. Somewhere along the way, I believe TOVA sold to QVC and her masterpiece was changed. ("In 2002, QVC bought the Tova brand for a seven-figure sum.") Perhaps someone has something to add about other formulations that were still really good, not sure. I'd go for the black box, frosted bottle which is marked ... TOVA Corporation, Beverly Hills, California 90210 ID. It holds up well, I have had some for many moons, still truly lovely. :)

I love that you are bringing simple back! 😊😊 Great video. This is random but I have a bottle of Revlon's Fire & Ice Cool - I purchased it for like 6 bucks at a vintage shop. It instantly reminds me of this babysitter I had when I was a child - she smelled very very similar to this fragrance so I wonder if this was her perfume. I would describe it as a clean delicately sweet shampoo-like musk. It's very much an early 2000's fragrance, nothing groundbreaking. I love that you talk about Trish Mcevoy fragrances as they are underrated. I used to wear #6 Mandarin & Ginger Lily and I loved it - very crisp, zesty, clean. Loved it. I'm thinking about repurchasing it. Loved the sexual chocolate reference 😂

Trish McAvoy makes some really good quality makeup products, too. Or, at least, she did. When it was her running her brand. She's a pioneer in the world of makeup artistry and a very talented makeup artist, in her own right. She's the one who started using makeup brushes to apply makeup. She's the one, along with her husband (pretty sure it was her husband) who brought makeup and science together to improve application techniques but to teach women exactly what to do to play up their own unique features and taught them how to use the products and brushes. Its a really cool story for anyone interested in makeup. (As I obviously am. 😋) Anyway, if you haven't tried her makeup products QVC used to be the best place to get them for a great deal!! 🌸🤟🏻💗

If you love Musc Moschus then you might enjoy Trish McEvoy #9. I think the reason MM is so nostalgic to me is that it reminds me of #9 which was my signature 10 years ago. And my girl Apollonia? Talk about clean cold musk! She’s the ice queen and I love her!

Bonne Bell Skin Musk was my intro to musks. then the body shop's musk. nowadays I love Not a Perfume, Pear Inc, Madewell Indigo, Trish McEvoy 100, TF White Suede, Burberry Body, La Mia Perla, J Lo Still, Another 13, Lacoste Pour Femme Légère, and one of my favs, This Is Not A Blue Bottle! 11 11 to me smells of warm clean skin. Valaya lasts almost TOO long!! 🤪🤣🤣 hahaha I do love 11 11, it is crisply, almost metallicly laundry clean to me, but you've heard me talk about it on my clean tray and travel spray vids, a couple of times I have wondered if my bottles have gone off a bit, because it is a "clean" brand, so maybe it doesn't have as many preservatives… and my bottles are probably a couple of years old. But I still find it just very crisp and fresh, I often refer to it as a white Amber. Like Amber with every bit of the brown removed if that makes sense lol 😆

I just finished watching Sharida's video. She mentioned that Rosendo Mateu has the best sensual musk, and I totally agree with her. Your recommendations are always great. JHAG Pear - Yesterday I sprayed that over a pear-scented body lotion and spray from Bath & Body Works. Then I topped it off with Guidance and sprayed Amorous Intense on both my wrists and knees. I smelled amazing! The combination wasn't overwhelming at all. It was a fantastic mix!

I love Snowy Owl! It doesn't smell very musky to me, though. It smells like flowers and snow to me - like early spring when flowers start to bloom, but then there's a snow storm that covers everything in ice. I'll have to wear it again thinking about the musk and see what I get. I just have a sample and 1 little spray on each arm is enough to last the whole day.

I just got a Victoria's Secret Coconut Passion body spray for layering with other tropical fragrances this summer, like Jennifer Lopez Miami Glow and Tommy Bahama for Her. The only other one I have owned is the Midnight Bloom body mist, a favorite of mine, but have never had one of the perfumes. Every time I hear the word "musk" , I remember my best friend in high school making fun of one of the teenage boys' colognes by saying, "I smell a dead musk", LOL. Ah, memories! I love Sunny Side Up by JHAG. I don’t think it has musk, but it’s light and clean. I also love Nothing but Sea & Sky by Une Nuit Nomade. That fragrance is so addictive and smells amazing. It’s also a very simple fragrance. 😊

Parfums de Nicolai has the most elegant musk fragrances. I love bigger musks in the warmer weather; they bloom. Musk Ravageur, Musk Tonkin and Musk Kubla Khan are favourites. Pear Inc really blooms in the heat for me too.

Thank you for this! I've been curious about VS bare because you've mentioned it before. I bought the sampler pack and oh em gee, these easily out do my collection, very sexy. Bare is nice, cozy, and sexy. I was looking for the softness that sandalwood has but it's creamy and done right with that sexiness. These are full bottle worthy. I have the very sexy orchid on the way.

Like you, I'm very underwhelmed by Lake & Skye 11 11. I bought a 15 ml travel spray to see what all the hype was about and got a very faint, salty musk in the vein of Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt or Teo Cabanel Peau Salée, but the latter two are so much better. I can't smell 11 11 after 10 minutes - it's that weak. In short, I will use up my spray, but am not going to buy a full bottle. Meanwhile, a fabulous musk that's a recent addition to my collection is Celine Parade. I sprayed it on at Saks, went home to see how it developed and fell in love - it's an expensive (literally and figuratively) clean-girl scent, like a model off duty sans makeup in a white t-shirt but ever so chic. Though I am the furthest thing from that, LOL, I fell in love, went back to the store the next day and got a full bottle! And sorry for the long rant, Veronica, but in your upcoming iris video I hope you get to include Olfactive Studio Iris Shot, Room 1015 Sonic Flower and Jusbox Visionary Eye. The last one was created by Dominic Ropion and am blown away by how good it is! Okay, rant over. Carry on, la mia belleza!

For me 11 11 is just a light clean musk that is a tad sweet and I get like the tiniest bit of pepperiness just in the operating. It fades very quickly to a skin scent. It's ok. I like. I'm not trying to afford PDM Valaya but I have had Afnan Mystique Bouquet for a while before I heard it was a dupe or clone for Valaya. I can't attest to that because I've never smelt PDM Valaya , however, Mystique Bouquet is a really beautiful scent that I really love wearing in spring/summer.

Valaya was not a love at first sniff for me, but like you, it grew on me rather quickly. I find layering it with my citrus fragrances makes my citrus fragrances last longer. My most recent favorite layering combo was Valaya and another PDM, Perseus. 🥰🥰🥰

So my collection is not anywhere near the size of yours, but I have still made the effort to purchase the 30 ml or 50 ml size of product! I have enough fragrances that if I go through the smaller bottles and want to repurchase? I can! The only exceptions to this rule is 1. Creed fragrances 2. Coco Chanel 3. Shipping cost are involved and it just makes sense to pay the extra $7 for 50 ml of product (talking about you Jomashop)!!

I love Lake & Skye 11-11. I prefer the oil, although I have owned both. I think it smells like a slightly aquatic version of Clean Reserve Skin. I am also loving Maya Base perfume oil. Very beautiful musk scent (a your skin but better) fragrance. If you don't like oils, it won't be for you, but I do remember the You Tuber who reviewed it saying that even though she wasn't into roller-ball oils, she would wear that fragrance regardless, because she loved it so much.

@@VeronicaSays Maya is the name of the company. They make two oils. One is Maya Base, which I wear alone, but you can also use it as a layering fragrance, of course. The other one is Maya No. 1, which is a more photorealistic vacation scent, but not in a sunscreen way. I love both, but wear Base more often. They also make lotions and candles. The original You Tube video that I saw is no longer up, but there Elizabeth Grace did a nice tik tok video, and she also has a discount code that you can use (providing it is still valid). Also, the 11-11 oil is nicer than the edp, which I had and decluttered. You might not get that chemical thing with the oil.

I love a good musk frag! Mmmmmm initio musk therapy is everything, that one is so wonderful, I got the dua dupe bc I can’t afford initio😭 Sonic flower by room 1015 has been my latest favorite musk, as well as layering the BBW musk (dupe for l’eau papier) and clean reserve skin. Idk if this is considered a musk but replica lazy Sunday morning is another musky fave. Feel better, hun!!!
