Hello Veronica. I was a late bloomer vanilla lover lady. Babycat used to be my favorite vanilla as it was super hard to get it before, but JS sells it now and the US YSL website too(less expensive at the website)….well maybe it’s still one of my faves. 😁. My other go to vanillas that I consider worth the hype are Absolute Aphrodisiac, Angelique Noire, Spirituese Double Vanille, Lune Feline, Chloe Vanilla Planifolia, Althair and Accident A La Vanille. I also have spicy vanillas like Ani X, Material, Starlight and Ivory Route. I was late in the game, but now I can’t really remember how many vanillas I have in my collection, 😆Queening is on my wishlist, but yeah, super expensive 😄 Thanks for this wonderful video. 💜💜💜

🍫🍦🍫🍦 i don't generally love vanilla forward perfumes especially if they lean sweet or gourmand however i love the way Van Cleef & Arpels does vanilla in Bois d'Iris. After listening to this i went out and tried Flora Gorgeous Orchid and it was lovely.

Love Delight is so pretty. I just got my sample last week and was shocked at how much I love it. I get the cinnamon a lot! Cinnamon, heliotrope, and the play doh vanilla. I totally agree it has a play doh quality, which I love. I used to try to eat the fresh play doh as a child because I would go crazy over the smell. 😂

🍦 Your description of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid is very accurate! As far as vanilla scents go, Vanilla Woods (The 7 Virtues) was love at first sniff and have actually received many compliments - a majority of them from men, may I add - while wearing this fragrance. Another awesome video! 🍨

Vanilla is one of my favorite notes. Nice video, Veronica! I'm wearing Vanilla Haze by Fugazzi as we speak. I don't see it getting a lot of hype, I guess, but I really like it. Vanilla, caramel and a bit of a burnt sugar smell on the opening. I just have a sample, not sure if I will purchase a full bottle, but I do like it a lot.

I agree with the Amouage bottles. They are beautiful. I have been waiting for love delight to go on sale again on JS. Thank you for another great video you had me chuckling again. Two hyped vanillas that I think deserve all the rage specially for the cold weather are Bianco Latte and Ginger Biscuit. I had an outdoor event that I attended and it was cold. I put on the bianco latte lotion and then sprayed ginger biscuit on my hair and sweater and I felt so cozy with those two fragrances and all my layers. 🍦🍦🍦🍦

Just to add something that hasn't been named yet: Gold Myrrh Absolute by Carolina Herrera. The only one I have from this line, and I would have recommended it if it didn't have THE WORST performance I have ever experienced. But the scent.... OMG it is sooo beautiful. I think this is my favorite scent profile for vanillas: incensy, woody, dark, mysterious. Vanilla Love by Jimmy Choo gives me the same vibe. And I don't know if this is a patchouli or vanilla forward perfume, but Vanilla Royale by Kayali is a perfect 10 in my book. I aways felt that one was made especially for me, and if I ever had the opportunity to create a perfume it would be that one, granted it had not come into existence yet lol.

Gucci Vanilla Orchid, I killed during the summer, but it’s like a beachy vanilla to me and I have no urge to wear it now. Cooler months I go heavy, gourmand vanilla. Burberry Goddess is a designer “vanilla for life” like Hypnotic Poison. Gentle Fluidity God, Lune Feline, PDM’s Althair and Amouage’s Material are in the niche “vanillas for life”… Phlur, IMO, is overpriced for the underwhelming longevity and Sillage, but I do like Vanilla Skin, but the frags, I’ll only buy on Mercari etc. Nice list and video content.

Last night I ordered a 10ml of Scents of Wood "Vanilla in Bourbon" becuase I was so impressed with Plum in Cognac. "Vanilla in Bourbon" is supposed to be a Vanilla infused Liqour type scent, should be interesting. I can always layer it with 7 Virtues "Vanilla Woods" if I need more of a cupcake vanilla in the mix. 🍦🍦🥃🥃 "Vanilla Woods" is one of the best(and cheapest) just plain old "cupcake vanilla" frags 😊

@ yeah I picked it up from Neiman’s as I was rounding out my birthday fragrance purchases😂, they happen to have a sale so I got it for like $130. I bought the 2.5 ounce bottle. When it’s warm, you do get a vanilla and a balsamic kind of but it smells good. Don’t get me wrong. It doesn’t smell similar to like a lot of others out there. I took it out in cooler weather. I experienced something new from it and I’m going to have to wear it again, but I really really like this fragrance. You owe it to yourself to give it a try you won’t be displeased cause it’s gonna give you different. Looks or smells very versatile. Have a great weekend.🧡🤎🍁🙏👑🌟

My granddaughter, her friend and I went to Neiman Marcus and they loved Queening and doused themselves in it. They were sadly disappointed that within an hour they could no longer smell it at all. I don't think I could justify the price no matter how lovely.

Turns out I really enjoy it, much more than I would have ever thought 🤷‍♀️One of my all time favorites is still Atelier’s Vanille Insensee, which doesn’t get much love anymore 🙁 Althair is surprisingly easy to wear, unisex and unique 👍🏻 I recently wore Absolute Aphrodisiac (2nd time) and unfortunately I am one of those people who doesn’t get the hype, or any complexity. Lattafa - the hideous bottle is immediately recognizable by the 3D relief of horses running across the bottle 😂🐴 The perfume is so damn good, though. Completely obsessed - if it’s even a third of what Althair smells like, I may need to splurge. The perfect winter vanilla!
