Jasmin et Cigarette by ELDO is my favourite tobacco. Fougere Bengale is my favourite Fougere. Mitsouko is my favourite Chypre, Babycat is my current favourite vanilla, Djedi is my favourite Oriental and Arabie is my favourite Gourmand. I favourites for almost every flower but then the list gets too long. If you want an every flower fragrance, Joy is insanely great. I’m pretty biased towards classic fragrances. There are reasons they are considered Masterpieces.

Fracas is deserving of the term "masterpiece" to me. Chanel Coromandel I also classify as a masterpiece. I don't wear too much Amouage but I do own samples of Beach Hut and Honour both are loves. 💯 If I had to choose a masterpiece in the woody category, it goes to Samsara, one I have worn for over two decades

Hey Veronica! I’ve sampled Beach Hut and to me it represents true niche perfumery: quirky, artistic, tells a story, not mass-appealing. Jeez I need to try RM No.6 already - it’s getting a lot of love on YT these days. Andrea Maack too 🌹 I can’t even begin to come up with my list 🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe some of my Serge Lutens and there are a few from Memo Paris I adore. TF's Soleil Neige is so pretty... I might like it more than the other beachy one. It's probably because I have others that are somewhat similar. Dolce Amalfi was an obsession in September and October 2023... 😅 It stays fruity and juicy the whole wear. It's amazing! And the clove and saffron give it a little spiciness without overpowering the light and fresh feel.🥰

Commodity Bold is so good. Its very enveloping, very delicious. A great buy. I have been wearing Shaghaf Oud Tonka today and its a pretty good tonka/almond perfume for an affordable price. That turquoise bottle is super pretty. I also am trying out Dolce Garden, a lovely tropical scent. Also so affordable and long lasting.

Wild Python sounds interesting. I haven't commented in awhile, have not purchased many fragrances lately. I do like fig in fragrance, bought Liam by Lattafa a few weeks ago, unusual for my collection. I really like it. The notes include Cardamom, Fig, Black Tea, Iris, Labdanum and Vetiver and in the base, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Tonka and Patchouli. And d it's so inexpensive for a huge bottle. Not sure it is a masterpiece, but it is a dupe for Gris Charnel by BDK, which I could never afford, and I would wear it in any season except high summer. As always, I love your descriptions! Finally got to try Pavilion in the AM discovery set, and it is a twin to Brandt Genesis!! Very beautiful but I fear I'd rarely wear something so intense.. In fact my sample may last me quite awhile! 😅

Omg you make me want to go back to my sample and smell Beach Hut again, hopefully I still have it. I remember sampling it and thinking it smells like a rotting beach hut literally rotting away in the salty water. Now I m curious after 2 years how I perceive it .

Vanagloria is so good. I get mostly the same, but to me, the pineapple comes out as a green note, like a pineapple that is not ready to cut yet I guess. I think Soleil Neige (and Paragon) is my most complemented fragrances ever.

Yes! Scherzo is beautiful also! 💖 They have some similarities but Pavilion has a distinct softness and sweetness that makes it a bit different.
