i skate outdoors too and when there is debris and uneven surfaces you get a jerky sort of action, also falling on a surface that is not a painted rink is so much more painful than what you are used to, it makes you nervous plsy, of course, the dangerous surroudings and ropes etc and small cramped space doesnt help

I've figure skated with both ice skates and inlines, and let me tell you inlines are wayyy heavier she would be impressive on ice, but the fact that shes doing this with rollerblades is just amazing

I wonder if it will improve her ice performance. She'll feel like she's dancing on air. Not to mention the reliable friction of ice blades is much easier to predict than these wild ball bearings.

Juanis Well, you have to put in more energy, but other than that, it’s not much of a difference, you Just have to know how to use your toe stop in spins and jumps!

Unlike ice skates it doesn't have a pick so it's harder to stop sometimes. When I first started roller skating because I didn't want to keep on spending money on going to ice rinks especially when I'm just in middle school, I looked like a clown unable to stop spinning. I'd crash and fall here and there, but eventually I got the hang of it in a few weeks.

We use the regular ice boots, where it is posdible to mount the Inline skating frames with the wheels and bearings. If you stay in USA you can look and search in the Google "Inline skating frames for Figure skating or artistic', Who is selling such kind of inline frames in your area. In Russia the distributor of the Roll Line ( italian produced) , it is Www.skateland.ru Now, they are changing the site, still have some in stock Snowwhite frames ( it is taiwan producer), if you are from USA you should have the pic Skates frames, it is USA brand. If you have any questions pls do no hesitate to ask😊

I do have the same artistic inline roller skates for a week and I skates two times on them yet. For me it is really hard. I'm used to skate on ice for 13 years, I can do everything on ice but to convert it to these roller skates, seems impossible, its like I never skated. I have to learn everything again. Is that normal? I thought it would be easier, but its not! Ice skating is easy for me but these Rollerskates killing me!

I'm a figure skater trying to get the hang of artistic in-line skating as well. It definitely is a challenge as skating on asphalt is much less forgiving than skating on ice! I find it difficult to execute 3-turns and spins due to the difference in grip but I'm slowly getting used to it. My biggest issue right now is remembering how to stop, as my go-to on ice is a one-foot hockey stop. I absent-mindedly tried that the other day, it didn't end well!

Their off-ice skates, there's a few companies that make them. But off the top of my head I only know pic-skates and Snow-whites. Otherwise just google "off-ice skates"

I think this is cool, but you could stand to get a serious head injury if you were to fall, and break wrists, knee caps , A$$, and other bones, i would hope she wears protective gear next time. Kids: wear protective gear: helmet, wrist guards, knee pads, the fall would be tragically painful and a nice visit to ER. Freedom of speech &press USA
