Even when she was being a total b in her debut episode, I could tell that her behavior wasn’t just pure pettiness. There was genuine hurt behind it all. She got a heart tattoo of Blitzø’s name. You don’t do that without deep feelings and time spent together. And even then, she just crosses it out instead of removing it. That tells me part of her is still stuck on him. Maybe lingering feelings for the fun guy he was before he ghosted her or the emotional scars he inflicted.

I have been kind of wondering if the tattoo being crossed out instead of removed might be more of a choice for the audience than the character. If they hadn’t shown it crossed out in Spring Broken we wouldn’t have seen her tattoo until 4 episodes later when Blitz is swiping through his photos after Ozzie’s. I hadn’t had this theory until S2E5 // Unhappy Campers when we are shown Barbie Wire with her forehead tattoo from the circus also crossed out instead of removed.

At the end, Verosika realized that Blitzø belongs at the "I Hate Blitzø" party more than anyone. This episode is the literal definition of being traumatized doesn't excuse hurting others, Blitzø hurt so many and it's crazy how many. I like how Verosika hosted these parties not to shame any of Blitzø's exes, but to reassure them that they're not alone in what they're going through.

I also noticed this. I love the idea of Verosika forgiving Blitz, as forgiveness isn't just for the person recieving it, but also for the person giving it. Forgiving Blitz will help Verosika to get over Blitz, and move on with her life. She even mentions feeling bad for simply being mad at Blitz, which forgiving him will help her with too

I've actually always been curious about Verosika since we saw Blitz still have her picture in his phone, so that relationship probably ment a lot to him too, it wouldnt surprise me if they confirm that she was his first serious relationship after the accident, like he might of had one night stands but with everyone hating him Verosika might have been the first person in a long time to actually stick around but then it started getting more serious than he thought it would get.

yes, but he did try to steal the book, yet when Stolas was so trusting of Blitz, he couldnt do it. instead he intended to stay and give him a good time for letting him borrow the book, only turning into an all night thing that the two would turn into an arrangement and ultimately share feelings for. but of course the big issue is that neither are good at communicating.

I also think Cash Buckzo has a big role to play, in the way Blitz was molded and shaped. Blitz stole from the Goeita household to help his mother. But Verosika was one of the better parts of this episode. Though I do have a difficult time connecting to Stolas.

I think it's less about them hurting him, Blitz fears what might happen TO THEM if he allows himself to love them. If we think about what happened to those he loved so far (Fizz, his mother and his sister) and his desire to protect and be of service to people, it becomes fairly obvious that his trauma isn't centered around what they could do to him but instead what his love could cause to those he allows himself to genuinely love.

this is my thought process too, and he didnt steal the CC and Car to HURT Verosika, but instead protect her, not wanting her to get hurt. that party however showed him that while he may have meant well in a lot of cases, in the end he feels that something like the fire will happen to them if he doesnt stop things fast. which ties into why in Apology Tour he was trying to get things back to where they were, an arrangement that both of them would be happy and safe doing. unfortunately there is no going back, and with the Season 2 trailer i have a feeling that Blitz's worst fears will be made manifest, Stolas will be in danger even if they arent together.

The fact that Verosika served Blitzø his own heart on a silver platter is hilarious. But I love that Blitzø didn't eat it. Compared to how he acted at Bee's party after what happened at Ozzie's, this is a great and subtle indicator that he does want to change. Also Blitzso they way he talks to Versoika is a little bit more open than it was with his ex could remind you that he has been through so much stuff in his past he cant open up until everything is thrown in his face and makes him think about his actions as a whole instead of being willfully ignorant. He has a fear of loneliness even though his ex made it plain as day that he wanted someone to love him. Blitzo was being very condescending with his ex in the first part of the video because he was too blinded by his own greed for sex and wanting to feel like he was earning his way to torment and do evil or do his job. I recognized that right away because i used to be like that but i can to the realization that i was going inevitably going to be alone it made me start taking a look at my inner self as a person and see what i was was afraid of and that my friends is being alone. No one wants that unless they have make that ultimate decision to do so or they have come to accept that they will be, in which i have not and probably never will.

That was a heartwarming episode, also Martha's inner demon looked amazing, but the part of Mrs. Mayberry & Martha...I was like OH MY GOD! WHAT?! HOW?! WHEN?! There's a huge question like.. Did they made up, Is Martha's marriage with Ralphie ended & started cheating on Martha then decides to kill him and meet Mayberry as they apologized to each other & got to know each other knowing of their mistakes in Hell, OR did she and Martha met before and cheated but when she saw what she was doing broke Mrs. Mayberry? Guess we'll have to wait till July if we see a short about Martha & Mayberry. Boy oh boy that's a lot of exes Blitzo hurt, although he at least apologized to Verosika & I'm glad Stolas and Blitzo didn't get back together because if they did it would be too soon, he needed a break and start over with a fresh new start for himself. Maybe one day Stolas can find true happiness.

For all Blitz' faults, Verosika-- like Loona, Fizz, M&M, and Stolas--saw something in him worth loving. Her biggest issue was his lack of apparent lack of remorse. So when he finally drops the act and admits he wants to improve, she probably recognizes the more positive qualities she was initially drawn to. She may not forgive Blitz, but his admission at least validates that she wasn't crazy to fall for him in the first place.

I think when she first met him again in the parking lot, she might not even have known he changed his name at that meeting. She does need to stalk him to know of his exes, but she doesn't necessarily know any of his changed personal thoughts about his name. But, I think she did write Blitz instead of Blitzo on the invitation to Stolas. When they meet in the lot she intentionally said his name the old way to his face, but she wrote it the way he preferred on the card that she didn't have reason to believe he'd ever see for himself.

Just because you forgive someone doesn't mean you have to be friends with each other or anything. I think this episode Verosika saw Blitzo was worthy of forgiveness. I think it's poetic the fact that she gave him a HEART as a cake in the end. Like considering he might still have one or something. Also the true apology tour for Blitz I believe started with Fizz. The accident that drove them apart and k1lled his mom was the the base for his myriad of traumas and fixing their relationship was the start of fixing Blitz's ... well everything.

At this point, it boiled down to two questions here: 1 Excluding his father, who harmed Blitz emotionally? 2 Should the one who harmed Blitz emotionally be held accountable for his or her actions at least? Sure, that person did not force Blitz or tell him what to do afterward. But that person fully convinced Blitz with his/her own actions toward Blitz that the only way he will be emotionally and mentally protected is to attack first. One thing to point out here: Blitz said "This is Hell! Everyone is beep-y!" while he, Verosika and everyone in the party are on Earth. So yeah, Hell on Earth is real from certain point of view then. After all, we humans can be really awful to each other sometimes.

I think other than his shitty father the main source of Blitz’s damage was the day he accidentally caused that massive fire at his home circus. That one incident killed his mom, brutally crippled his best friend/first big love and severed his relationship with his (twin?) sister who was then also sent spiralling into drug abuse. If you’re the reason for why every one of your loved ones’ lives was ruined, I think that would hurt the ol’ self esteem a lil bit, no? Like he already felt low about himself with how his father treated him and knowing how looked down upon imps are, that one major accident he caused would have been more than enough to fully solidify to him that he is a horrible person and completely unworthy of anyone’s love

It think it cuts both ways. Rather than hurting others to emotionally and mentally protect himself, Blitz is actually trying to protect others from himself. Although somewhat rationized, Blitz is aware of the harm he's causing to those he cares about, thus is only trying to minimize his self-destructive behavior towards himself. With Stolas, he's had to continuousally steal from, as a child and adult, for financial reasons. With Fiz, he knew he was becoming jealous toward his own his best friend for having everything he wanted, which can cause impulsive behavior that leads to very 'unfortunate accidents'. Personally, I think Blitz can tolerate people being abusive and shitty towards himself, like how his Father was towards him for XX years. What Blitz actually can't tolerate and is actually insecure about, is himself causing another life threatening accidents that will hurt those that love him back. From Blitz's perspective, it's probably 1) Hate Me and stay alive 2) Love Me and die. Think Blitz is just choosing the option with the least body count, which is ironic given his profession.

I loved this episode with Verosika, we see more depth of her character. She was someone who DID love him and honestly wants whats best for him. She wants him to change, and interestingly enough we dont really see her accept his apology. he can apologize and mean it, but in the end she doesnt HAVE to accept it. She really owes him nothing. It wasnt like with Fizz where th two made up and are friends again. It was a good subversion of what some expected. I do wish we got a flashback or something a little more into Blitz and Verosika's relationship. But the confirmation that Verosika did go as far as feel love for Blitz and that confession being the reason why they broke up is still satisfying. Who knows, maybe a future short will focus on Verosika and maybe it'll even be a flashback on her and Blitz's relationship

Another layer I think about Verasikas pain is that shes a Succubus, so we have no clue if her previous relationships were only with her because of that only and not her as a person, or maybe she questions if people truly love her or it was accidental manipulation being a succubus. So it could be that when she is vulnerable and says I love you to Blitzø and he leaves how many have hurt her in the past in similar ways and he was the final straw?

The only thing missing from the discussion is how Blitzo was effectively raised and conditioned to equate love with pain. His father used familial love to manipulate him into stealing from Stolas, and he was getting ready to express his feelings to Fizzarolli right before the accident that left both of them disfigured and his mother dead. Verosika's self-loathing about allowing herself to be vulnerable is something to which Blitzo can absolutely relate. And the only one of Blitzo's "exes" who could have confirmed that, Fizzarolli, was also the only one who didn't go to the party. It might also tie into why Blitzo is so clingy with Loona, Moxxie and Millie. The relationship he has with them is non-romantic, ergo they're a way for him to fill the hole in his heart -- to prevent his greatest fear of dying alone -- without allowing himself to be vulnerable in that way.

Apology Tour gave Verosika more depth, and I don’t think some know that. It helped us understand that she isn’t just a girl who broke up with her ex and started dogging on him for no reason. We now understand that Blitzø broke up with her first while she was deeply in love (and with quite a douchey leave too). Verosika is an average, sexy, and fun girl, but we don’t get to see that because Blitzø is the main character. It’s really nice to see her develop even though she still gives off the feeling of hatred.

What i keep thinking about it how hurt Blitz seems about the upper ranks, like they actually already hirt him. He seems to have trauma. Did somthing happen or is it all in his head? Like somthing he actually made himself believe? Or maybe its somthing he got from the way hos dad raised him?

This was an amazing episode in the show. This episode really humanized everyone in this episode. Even the background characters in the party. Verosika got serious character development in this one episode and I loved it. I knew she wasn’t a bad person but probably just hurt and sure enough she isn’t. Sure it’s hell but like blitz just cause it is hell is no excuse to be a jerk to everyone and I love this show for that. Despite the setting not everyone is 100% evil but are flawed people trying to get by. Sure pacing is an issue at times like last episode focusing on the wrong plot we wanted to see but over the course of the show vivzipop really is showing that her interpretation of hell may not as black and white evil as most depictions of hell and I love this show for that. Every character feels like a real person you could meet in person despite it being a cartoon. Can’t wait for more episodes.

The way she's written has always implied that her anger came from a place of hurt imo. The tattoo was pretty obvious, but she also makes a lot of really specific references to the way Blitz treats people. She was always supposed to be this reminder of what a jerk Blitz really was, which is why he keeps running in to her. He can't escape her because he can't escape his own actio ns.

You know, the more i think about it, the more i suspect that she's actually put things together and understands why he is the way he is. Doesn't forgive the harm he's done, but gets what his deal is. She knows Barbie, and it seems pretty likely they compared notes. She's almost certainly talked to Fizz, and clearly has most, if not all, of his exes to tap for more info. She's the one person positioned to have access to all the pieces.

Verosika's story hurts even more considering she's a succubus. Her entire life she's likely been pushed to be sexual, and her mere existence is sexualized, so she probably didn't know what actual love felt like. And when she finally decides to be vulnerable for once, to express love in a genuine manner and open up to someone who wasn't after just her body but her as a whole, she gets punished and gets her life wrecked.

Her response was so aggressive in front of Stolas because she still hurts. She cares deeply when she lets someone in so it hurts that much more. But you see her kind side just by throwing this party alone. It may be about hating Blitz but its more about showing others that theyre not alone and have people that can help them

Everyone's heart is broken by the end song but I genuinely think it's not about Stolitz. It's from Verosika's POV. I mean, she even sings it. "I'm not over it, but I'm over you." She's not over what happened or what he did, but talking to him here offered her the catharsis she needed to finally be over him. Both Blitz and Stolas are very much not over each other, I think they made that really clear. Like crystal.

1. Blitzo spent years of his life turning a blind eye to other people's suffering, refusing accountability for his actions. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he knew Adraophis. 2. Verasika might be a new ally when IMP goes on the run. 3. Octavia is the one person getting the most screwed out of this situation. She's going to learn the hard way that her mother and uncle are the very worst kind of people in her life.

Verosika is a succubus so loving one person that stands out the most is hard for them. Specially anyone in the lust ring. They fear backlash if it is found they actually are in love with another. (Fizz and Ozzie, Angel Dust with whomever cares for him.) It's taboo in the ring of lust because the virtue opposite of lust is love. So having genuine love for someone risks alot for that person from that ring especially if they're famous. So it wasn't just a relationship for her, she was willing to risk her very being in a vulnerable and intimate way for a lust being. There was also an interesting visual metaphor in her giving Blitz the heart piece of the cake. It was a small jab because it meant "eat your heart out" she did that intentionally too. Because it is Blitz's turn to chase after what and who he wants instead of people chasing after him. So it is a subtle "Good luck going after what can be impossible/unattainable but suffer while you do it." I've also caught on that music is important to Blitz too, so with him actually listening to Verosika's song instead of being in a rush to change it (like in Ex's and ohs) he sat there listening to the song she made on being over him. She's not over what he did to her, but she is over their relationship. I hope we see more Verosika, and maybe his sister somewhere when he's actually changed for better.

I also have a theory that in the culture of sucubus and incubus proclaiming your love for someone is a serious thing. It might also be possible that while they have sex with different people the sucubus will only ever feel love for one person a soul mate in a way. This might only happen once in their lives and they can’t feel the same way towards others, no matter how much they want to. This could explain why Verosika never had another serious relationship after Blitzo because to her he was the one and she feels worse about the breakup because she’ll never find someone like him again. It could have been the same for some of the others at the party to, most likely why allot of them are hurting even after years have passed.

What both characters need to learn is what makes them as an item actually work - assuming their going to get back together at all. Counting Blitzø, Stolas has only ever had 2 relationships. He needs to get more experience. Blitzø on the other hand has been in so many relationships he needs to do some intersection on why out of all of them including Verosika why does he want to treat Stolas differently. Yes both want to feel loved and are afraid of being alone but that is not the same as knowing who is right for them.

It was special that Blitz said his trailer quote to Verosika and that she was smiling before giving him a plate. I can't agree that he drives them away because they may cause him pain, but to avoid going through the same scenario with Tilla. That accident REALLY messed him up and the Dad was of no support.

The Verosika and Blitz connection is that of one-ness. Being able to comprehend one's own words and actions to the necessary extent for improvement is an awesome perk for their relationship. The never ceasing journey of self-improvement might just be the unfailing magnet that doesn't allow them to fail or give up on their eternal journey.

In my opinion, there is a pattern about Blitz that I don't like : - About Fizz (not the robot) : Meet him in the "cabaret" (1), save him from kidnapping (2) and make up during the "grand tournament" (3). So relationship fixed in 3 episodes. - About Verosika : Meet her in the beach episode (1), saw her again at the "cabaret" (2) and make up in the last episode (3). Relationship also fixed in 3 episodes. - About Stolas : Break up horribly in one episode and the very next, in the first minute, they are already talking... I'm afraid it's taking the same path and it feel rushed to me. I do hope that Barbie Wire is not taking the same route and that she is left in the back-burner for a while. If Vivzi want to add her in an episode un-relatade to Blitz and her, why not make her randomly "bump" into someone she doesn't know, like Millie, Loona or Octavia, or even making an appearance in the background. Just a manner to give us some insight about what she is doing / living (is she a party-goer ? a restless un-employed imp ? plotting a revenge on Blitz ? About to do something desperate ?)

I loved him and verosika talking at the end and the advice she gave was so good. If you can’t commit, give the person time to do their own thing until you can and if after that time they don’t want you, let them be happy. I was worried blitz may try something with verosika as it seems like blitz to immediately fake moving on instead of have those feelings but I’m glad he didn’t. Blitz really is changing which really shows how forgiving someone helps you feel better but also can change them for the better
