As a f2p, I don’t see any problem( for us, or for me personally). I pull when I got the in-game currency for free or from daily quests, and there’s no saving or withholding necessary! 🤷‍♂️ it is a gacha game after all, and either you get the character or you don’t ( based off the individual’s luck, I’d say). I try to pull for every characters, and if luck is on my side, I got the character( for free), if not, then it is still fine for me( just better luck next time) 😁

Objectively speaking, in top-revenue games, F2P players should usually expect to get at most 1 char per patch. Gotta Choose one over another. Moreover, It is also their (Late F2P players) fault because if they were to play early, they could have gotten Yinlin back in v1.2 and Yao for free in v1.3 and now they had only Camellya to get. This is just a F2P norm. Not doomed.

Yes, I only pulled Shore Keeper and I’m saving for Camellya for a future patch they are saying there will be a 2.6 or 2.7 version I will select two characters who I want and I will only pull for them I don’t need all characters I only need fav ones. No DPS character is guaranteed we should focus on support or buff characters. (or maybe sub-DPS characters like Yinlin or Changli who works with all DPS)

skipping camellya since i dont find her appealing. considering getting xy weapon or maybe cons for yinlin or xy but will likely just perma skip. i have ptsd from hsr/zzz giga omega galaxy glazing certain comps/metas and raising ceiling with new gen units i know very diff games and devs but id rather be cautious since i dont whale anymore. im hoping to max any broken supports or for a cool gun unit .

For all f2p players: focus on getting 5* weapon first!!! It’s better to have strong weapons than limited characters, your account value increases immensely!! I Don’t have Yinlin, Changli, Zhezi or Jiyan. But I will get Yinins weapon 100% for Encore!! I invested in Yaos and Jinshis signature weapon and got both at 80 pulls so I wasted a lot. But for me it’s 100% worth it

Yinlin wp is really good for all Rectifier DPS. I remember in 1.0 banner when i see her wp, i immediately thought to myself that there is no way im gonna miss out on this wp. Its too versatile with good stats, its value is incredible

camellya is not the first resonator that focus on basic attack dmg, it is zhezhi. but yes, camellya is the first DPS resonator that focus on basic attack. while zhezhi is a bit weird to be main dps since her attack is mostly from liberation which is coordinated attack, that we should not use coordinated attack without switching out, but if we switching out the outro buff will be expired. so camellya will be the best pair for sanhua.

Pulling Camellya and her weapon is more than enough honestly. Her aoe is insane, even wider than Jiyan's. Skip the second half and wait for 2.0. This way, you can have enough astrites to pull for 2.0 characters and possibly the skins.

AHHHHHHH it's so hard to choose. On one hand I definitely want Camellya. I don't really care about her weapon all that much, since I have the standard 5 star sword. On the other hand, I also want XY and Yinlin's weapons, since I'll be able to do so much more dmg with them. The biggest problem? According to my math, I'll only have 40 pulls for their weapons, and that's considering that I get Camellya on the first 10 pull I love WuWa, but what the actual f-

For whale players, there’s no financial consideration needed ( I’d say). And as a f2p myself, I don’t see any problem with pull or no pull. And I pull whenever I have the in-game currency to pull, and I try to pull for every characters. So, if luck is in my side at the moment, I got the character, if not, well then just better luck next time( no hard feelings or anything, cause I’m a f2p), and it is a gacha game after all. There’s no savings or withholding necessary. 🤷‍♂️

Have both Yinlin and Yao. Don’t have their weapons and don’t care about them; however, I have very little astrites. Around 1,300- ish. Gonna have to grind really hard. Only consolation is that I pulled an early Lingyang on Jiyan’s banner (only one multi-pull), which helped me not only score an early 50-50 loss (I had only a 6 pity after pulling Shorekeeper), but was also able to score Youhu on the second multi pull, which was my main goal. I am guaranteed Camellya on this upcoming 50-50. I just hope she comes early.

I started in 1.3 after shorekeepers banner ended so about 2 weeks ago. I only bought the astrite supply and the battle pass. I have pulled both beginner banners out, jiyan and his weapon, r6 sanhua and r4 mortified, and pitied an emerald of Genesis off standard weapon banner. I'm at 51 pity on limited banner with roughly 4000 astrite saved for camellya and I haven't finished the current events completely 😅 f2p players are fine.

I was really hoping that Camellya was going to be a Sub DPS, so I could use her for my Hypercarry team with my Havoc Rover and Shorekeeper, but that's out the window now. Even though Shorekeeper's Ult doesn't work well on Dual DPS teams, I'm gonna have Camellya on a Dual DPS team with Havoc Rover and Shorekeeper, I don't care.

I'm sort of new, so I missed the free XLY, which is a bummer. I need to see a few things with both Camellya and her wep before I fully decide (*cough* leaks *cough*), but my game plan so far is to try for Camellya + wep and Stringmaster (prob for Encore), currently at about 25K astrites pre-patch. If I lose the 50/50 on Camellya, I might rethink and try for either Yinlin or XLY. I know it's probably not necessary, but I would like one more solid DPS option.

Easy gameplay lots of room for error is Xiangli Yao. The problem is his best support both is lock on 5*. Hard gameplay even in quickswap Camellya. The plus side her Support is both on 4* and one of them you can get it for free.

Honestly xiangli yao destroys everything even without his signiture weapon. I think Yao and yin lin is a better investment in the longer run since sub-dps dont get powercrept easily. Also Yinlin works in any team while camellya is not. Its just my opinion as a fellow f2p bro because I regret not getting the best sub dps in the game early. Anyway as long as you pull your favorite characters its all good. Theres no real meta in this game

I'll have to see. It's possible I just go Yinlin / Stringmaster. I don't know if I have enough to pull for 2 of the 3 limiteds though. Would be depending a lot on luck and I would have to decide on Camellya in advance if I wasn't going to try for Yinlin and XLY and skip Camellya. Maybe I don't go for Camellya's wep / Stringmaster, but I only have 1 5* wep (Jiyan's) and not that many 4* weps yet (not even UL45 yet to get the weapon selector chest, which is definitely going to sword). Feels nice knowing I can't lose a 50/50 to wep banner though.

I was both smart enough to pull for Yinlin and her weapon on her debut, and lucky enough to get both, so I'm safe here. I have enough to guarantee Camellya even if I lose the 50/50 and have to go to pity, but I really hope I get her early enough to pull for her weapon as well, since it seems to offer more than her R1. This is a difficult choice though, since I could also make use of Xiangli Yao's weapon, since 4 Stars are just too meh for a DPS, and I'm holding off on getting the Standard 5 Star from the Std banner until I'm sure what I need, another Emerald of Genesis, or the gauntlets. I'll decide after Camellya's banner, whether I'll have been able to get her weapon. But I'll probably pull the Standard Gauntlets, because while Xuangli Yao's signature weapon is very strong, it's just that the other options are more tempting. If I get both Camellya and her weapon, I'll just continue putting all my Asterites I'll earn through her banner into trying to get more copies, or at worst, building pity/guarantee for her upcoming buffer/Sub-DPS.

Depends on your account. What do you have as dps (You need at least 3)? I started when the game launched and what i did is i pulled 3 dps early (jiyan, jinshi and changli) and started doing toa with max doritos, after that now im just pulling to make new teams that i like, for example i skipped first yinlin banner to get jinshi and changli and now im skipping camellya for her and sig, im still unsure about xiangli yaos weapons so we will see when it releases.

Not doomed, people are just making a big deal out of nothing. WuWa doesn't really make you get a character to use a certain feature, like how to make use of the new exploration in Genshin you feel like you need a Natlan character, so you feel like you have to pull. But I don't feel like that in WuWa. My main team is Rover, Encore and Baizhi, they are 3 of the 5 characters I have currently maxed out. Is the team good at wiping out bosses? Not that much since no one has recommended it as a must play but I like it and feel like I don't really need to constantly get new characters. I beat the main story with that team and a lot of times Baizhi was my MVP during the battles. She's my tank healer.😊

Theres a ton of pulls if you 100% the map, which is easy to do with the lootmapper, so even with horrendous luck a new player can expect to get at least two + their weapons without spending a dime. As for the older players, lots of people skipped Jiyans first run for Yinlin and got XLY for free so only need to worry about getting Camellya. It will only be an issue if they run Yumi on a rerun banner, it sucks being forced to miss out on Youhu if you already have or dont want Jiyan, and I hope they dont repeat this.
