You need 10 wishes for a 4 star. You need 90 wishes for a 5 star. You need 180 wishes for the 5star you want. You need 270 wishes for a guaranteed weapon. 3 wishes is literally nothing. 13 wishes does nothing. They are not losing anything by giving at least 20 wishes. But after 3 years? The rewards are not the main focus. It literally takes no cost or loss to them to implement better features. The producer just wants to do the bare minimum and squeeze the maximum money they can achieve. Lazy. Shady. They have all the money in the world. They can afford anything. And genshin players will pay them anyway. So what's the hold up? Why wait 3 years?

A 4-star skin selector of your choice was completely reasonable. A standard 5 star of your choice was completely reasonable for a gacha game. Asking for Qol improvements was completely reasonable for any game. Asking for better rewards is completely reasonable. Yet you fail to deliver the basic understandings that every other gacha game and any game in general has. Whats wrong with this company? Get new management. Everyones sick of this. It doesn’t connect but the northernmost point of Chenyu vale is both on the same sea level as the water between sumeru and Fontaine, and about the same distance. There will probably be a boat you can get.

@@kasa-ysayan definitely not cheap but compared to others I think it’s not that high considering I actually love this game and play it daily, that being said I also play HSR and definitely feel the difference in terms of the treatment for rewards.

@@denaldysn I also play HSR, and aside from the fact that Genshin could definitely give better rewards for events like Lantern Rite and Anniversary. I don't feel all that different when it comes to the average pull income you get in both games, HSR gives out more pulls but they're also releasing TWO new limited 5* characters every patch, and also started doing double banners way earlier. So I thought the pulls you get in HSR are just right for the games economy. While Genshin gives me more room to save as a non heavy spender.

Thqts the craziest part to me. They have literally the biggest money maker in the industry. Sonething like 5* selector wil literally change nothing. People will still have to pull for newer and newer characters, actually having additional, perhaps character they really wanted but couldnt get, would only motivate people to play more, and perhaps motivate people who would drop the game after not getting much from gatcha, to actually become part of the community And in the end these are digital goods, they are not losing a thing on this. Its absurd how they still decide to give nothing away

its been years i noticed honkai was hoyo favorite child but now its clear for everyone, how they despise genshin players, we made mihoyo a billion dollar company with genshin but they still despise us, I know that Da Wei loves honkai and he wanted us to love it as much as he does but he doesn't realize that there's no way to force people to like something? Can't he at least repay the affection of fans of one of his company's games, even if it's not his favorite game? Genshin is such a good game but apart from the archon missions and 5 star charac. the quality of things has been declining since the end of the first year, the events are increasingly shorter and more casual, the puzzles are almost non-existent, not even the summer vacation event was able to save itself in 2023, in honkai it's quite the opposite, everything is very well done, the events are incredible, the rewards unbelievable, and everything from the animations to the little things are better. Genshin doesn't update old mechanics, like the teapot or endgame stuff like the abyss, and only after more than 3 years were simple updates added to the interface, and they were only because the majority arrived in honkai first (and then they copied it to Genshin). Honestly, when genshin doesn't disappoint, makes you angry for not updating simple things that even a programming beginner could do in a short time, sometimes it seems like the Genshin team are 2 programmers paid in mint candy, and when it seems like there's going to be a reward, actually, it's just another paid thing...

Keep in mind it takes you 8 days to get 3 wishes by ONLY using the daily commission system. And how many years has this large player base played this game for? 3. If we compare this reward to a reward system like Honkai Star Rail (a game from the exact same company), they were awarded with a free 5-star: Dr Ratio which is not only an outstanding DPS unit currently in the game, but is also the EXACT reward us Genshin players have been begging for for the entirety of the game's lifespan. I hope you Genshin Devs read this because you do not understand the amount of time and dedication us people have gone through to enjoy the game. Man I know this game prints money like crazy and I'm sure the Genshin team is huge, but it still blows my mind how much new content comes out every 6 weeks. 2 new characters, 1 (or 2?) new areas with presumably new world quests, a new boss, Xianyun's story quest, new event story quests, like 6 mini-games... I enjoyed the interview with the team. Teyvat is one of my favorite worlds in video games and it's clear the team at Hoyo loves it just as much as the fans do.
