This is my 2nd Assassin's Creed style match up as I will pit the main assassin in New Orleans against the greatest Assassin Hunter of all time. Will Aveline survive or just become another victim ?

Even if he didn't have the Templar order he still could of have killed them it's just tracking them down that would have taken longer. Shay is the second top Templar in the colonies. Shay is haythams right hand man. Charles is temporarily replaced by him because after welcoming Shay in the order haytham would have sent Charles bac to Boston. Shay is something Aveline hasn't seen before. He's literally one of the best templars in history. Aveline is young and not very clever at times. Shay wasn't very clever either when he was in his 20s as an assassin but grew into a very clever and intelligent man by his late 20s as a templar . Aveline is probably only 3 at that point probably not even born. Shay is a very high ranked Templar and Aveline is a very low ranked assassin. Aveline is a pretty skilled fighter and a prtty good assassin no doubt but Shay's background makes him dangerous as he knows everything that Aveline knows in skills and.other stuff

I love the video and I agree with the outcome but I still think that conner would put up a better fight against shay because of his size and strength. Conner is also unpredictable like Edward due to his background in hunting and surviving in a tribe during his childhood. As a Native American, Conner has unique fighting tactics never seen by shay before. For these reasons, I think Conner could one up Shag due to his unpredictability and his physical advantages.

If Shay has both hands on his air rifle whilst it’s entangled with Aveline’s whip; and Adeline only uses one hand for the whip - what’s to stop her from going for her gun and shooting Shay. Best case scenario she kills him, worst case scenario it drives Shay back, forcing him to drop his rifle. Adeline could retrieve her whip and take the rifle out of the fight or potentially use it against Shay. It’s possible that Aveline knows about Shay’s history as an assassin turncoat and hunter, so instead of using her hidden blade from the roof uses her second gun to kill him keeping the distance. Also if the fight occurs in her house, she might have assess to an additional arsenal.

It wouldn't have mattered Shay could already sense where she was and the weapon she was using and I think it would take a lot longer to reload a pistol. She probably is aware that Shay is a turn coat because he the highest rank just under haytham,but she hasn't been experienced with someone with this high of fighting skill level. Her fate was technically sealed as soon as Shay arrived in new Orleans

Shay as well as others seemed to rely a lot on their crew, allies and ship to get things done. He also has a way smaller body count than Edward for example (les missions). Him taking out assassins was impressive, but so did Kenway without any training. Aveline operated solo the entire game without backup or ship. She went deep into swamps, fought Voodoo tribes, entire armies and it ended with her taking on an entire church full of templars in open combat without taking a single blow. Shay was more about sneak attacks and chasing and used a lot more weapons as well.

But that would also put Connor at a slight disadvantage since Shay already knew Achilles' strengths and weaknesses, therefore he would know some of Connor's weaknesses as well since he was trained by Achilles. There's also the fact he would have knowledge about Native Indian methods of fighting from having previously fought alongside Kesegowaase during his time with the assassins

I think Shay Cormac would have no reason to go after Connor. I think Shay knew that the Assassins Brotherhood would be better in Connors hands. Plus he was not on the name of Templars that Achilles wanted Connor to go after plus Connor does not know where Shay Cormac is. Plus if Connor knew that Shay was betrayed by Achilles and the colonial assassins. I think Connor would question Achilles on why they betrayed Shay Cormac and probably learn of the precursor sites and the corruption that led the colonial assassin's downfall.

I think (out of what I've seen so far on your channel) that Connor and possibly Bayek have the best chance of taking Shay down. The reason why I don't say Edward is for the same reason you had Connor win against Edward. When you take Edward off the deck of a ship and place him on an island (or other fielded area), it more or less comes down to if one can outfire him, and considering Shay has just as much experience fighting on land and at sea, I don't think it's improbable that Shay could take down Edward (I don't believe it's a cake-walk, though, so bear that in mind). Bayek I'd say simply due to his defensive capabilities as well as his bowmanship and being able to snipe Shay from a greater distance, as well as having experience fighting in grueling close-quarters fighting and dealing with large animals. Connor, having been the one to restore the order of assassins after Shay crushed it and being able to combat his own father (and grandfather possibly according to you), gives him a lot of combat credibility as a fighter as well as an assassin.

3TopicsReviewer a scenario for them fighting could be Conner's teacher sees Conners skill and sends him after his old student Shay to correct the mistakes of his past. Shay kills Connor and Haytham Kenway can’t control his anger, he goes after Shay. I just feel like they are the pinnacle of the templars, the best of the bunch. The fight begins with sword combat, where they both find themselves evenly matched. Shays assassin and templar training is nothing Haytham hasn't seen before, but Haytham's templar training is nothing Shay hasn't seen before. Shay gets a slight edge due to his younger age, but only slight. Both fighters switch to gadgets, where Shay once again finds himself with an ever so slight edge due to his better gear and the fact he also has assassin items. Haytham has no choice as he slowly but surely begins to lose, he needs to try another approach. He drops a smoke bomb and fades away. Shay knows what he's doing. He stands in just the place where Haytham can get him, daring him to attack. Haytham knows Shay is standing there so he attacks, so he uses a ranged gunshot to throw Shay off then jumps... and realizes his mistake. He hits nothing but smoke from the bomb Shay dropped, then finds a knife in his back. Shay wins. What do you think? Accurate?

I'm not sure Haytham would have much of an issue if Shay had killed Conner. As Templar's Haythem would know that a possible conflict with Conner was eventually going to happen. If Conner is doing something (which he does throughout AC3) that gets in the way of their goals then eliminating Conner would be necessary. I can't see Haythem sacrificing his principles and beliefs for someone he hardly knew. He would've known that converting Conner to the Templar's would fail so they would eventually come to blows. I think the only part of that scenario that Haythem would feel alittle uneasy with is that he would prefer to put Conner down himself rather that Shay just like said in his final words that " he should've killed Conner years ago" so I don't see Haythem being all that upset if Shay kills Conner he is thinking about the bigger picture.

Shay had legitimate problems with the Assassin order he was trained under and converted of his own free will there for I cant see how Shay would ever been converted back.

This fight would only take place 8 years after Shay killed Charles Dorian at that time he was in as good of shape and as dexterous as he was throughout the entirety of the time he fighting the colonial brotherhood, I think his age would barely matter in this fight. Also we know he never canonically returned to the colonies so this fight would have to take place somewhere else in the world probably near a precursor sight.
