Hey, man. I loved the video, and I think that you should keep this show going. And if you decide to continue this series, then put dmc 5 nero against kingdom hearts sephiroth. I believe that this more mature and experienced nero will be able to win, as his new devil breakers could counter seph's magic, and his teleporting, and combined with his sportsmanship will allow nero to push seph, and even edge a win. And seph won't be able to use an instant kill move due to how nero could reach him and hit him in time to stop him eith either his gun, or with his devil breakers. Also, if nero gets his devil trigger then that will further help him as seph will be caught off guard by this abilitie. Though I will admit, the entire battle will be an uphill battle especially if he doesn't have access to a devil trigger and left severely injured, to near death (depending if he has a devil trigger or not) but, I believe that he will have enough backing him to manage a win

100% agree. This versus series is much better than most death battles from screwattack. While I like see maths used to calculate feat, there is much more in a fight. I like how versus series, looks not only at physical and mental strenght, but also at fighting/fencing style, type of experience, psycology and so on...

Death battle used to be good with their accurately researched episodes, but now they completely fallen off the hill with poorly researched and lowballed stats. Their battles recently are now starting to get better but most of them use to be absolute BS such as gaara vs toph or tracer vs scout

They will be able to take the damage if Sephiroth lands a hit on them 3. If Sephiroth adapts to their strategy Zack or cloud would attack with one of their limit breakers or an attack when he is off guard

If this was Advent Children Cloud this fight would have likely gone a very different route. But as for the video it's self it was really well done. But I think the main reason it isn't doing that well or one of them at least is KZbin's algorith or what ever they are doing as I can say I rare to never get your vids on my recommended or home page. Also compared to everything around them your Versus vids are still doing the best on your channel in terms of views. But they do take time to make time that you could use to do other stuff. It'll be sad to see the versus vids go as they are what brought me to the channel. But its your call.

Sephiroth was caught off guard when Cloud stabbed him and I think there's more to the omnislash than it being just a special attack. Either way Sephiroth isn't exactly a glass canon. He can take a lot of damage and bounce back from it. After Cloud stabbed him he was still able to walk and even swat Cloud to the side and stab him. He was also not at full power in advent children either.

I don't know why you feel the need to see 4000 views on this video, but I won't judge you for it. It's your series and as the one doing all of this effort I can understand wanting to feel your efforts are worth doing. Now as for the fight, as much as I WANT to argue Cloud and Zack could win, your theory and analyzing was without flaws. You got their strengths and weaknesses down pat to a T, plus what we have to remember is that the only reason they had a chance in the beginning was Sephiroth's own arrogance and how unfamiliar powers, magics, or techniques can catch him off guard. Reducing his reaction time heavily because of his confusion. Now, I've been viewing some of your previous battles and I love your work, it's solid and you truly show a level of unbiased analyzing that makes me LOVE how far you researched it. Though some results I liked and others I felt sad to see my favorites fall in battle. I can't say I can argue against at the moment, but there is a battle I DO wish to see if you're still making videos by then. Consider this if you will... Sora(KH3) and Riku(KH3) vs Sephrioth(KH series) or just KH 3 Sora vs Sephiroth (KH series). It's no mystery Sephiroth has been a deadly boss battle that is truly iconic for Sora to face, but we don't know if he'll face Sephiroth for a third time or not. Which sadly to say I feel was a wasted in potential for the story, both for Sora and his interactions with Cloud and Tifa. If they played that right, there was SO much they could've done to explain why Sephiroth seems to test Sora both in his first adventure as the new Keyblade wielder and one year later as Sora has gained experience and new spells under his belt, plus the Drive Form: Limit Form. Sephiroth was never one to fight just for the thrill, he had purpose in his actions, and I feel if he was to target Sora as he did in KH games so far, it's because he sees something in Sora that has caught his attention. At first it could've been just intrigue with the Keyblade, but after the fight feel the kid could grow in potential for a plan of his involving all of humanity in all worlds. Because after Sephiroth's ascension in power as the Heartless Angel and knowledge of other worlds, I truly believe he'd end up targeting all humans across the universe for his mother or some grudge he has against humanity as a whole for a different reason by now. A year later he seems to test Sora again, despite Sora truly impressing Sephiroth, we see him, brush off any and all damage Sora has done like it was just a light spar. There are no visible wounds on him and to this day we can agree Sephiroth was one of few enemies Sora never truly defeated yet. More like he passed Sephiroth's tests before his fight with Cloud ensues and they vanish. So that is why I make this request for AFTER KH 3 comes out and you're still making these videos. For I want to know if Sora and, possibly if needed, Riku. As stronger, faster, more skilled, wiser, and more magically adapted Keyblade Wielder and Keyblade Master would be a more worthy fight against Sephiroth for a fight to the finish. Now I'll try to spread the word and offer links to the match, but one can only hope they meet your quota. Thank you for these wonderful matches and for giving us a chance to show you how TRULY amazing your work is to us. I hope to see more in the future and possibly my ideas too for the epic conclusion of Sephiroth vs Sora(Possibly Riku for backup) that has been spanning the Kingdom Hearts series and become almost an iconic fight secret boss that is on the same league as the Mysterious Figure.

One thing thats always bothered me as one of your "weaknesses" for Sephiroth is the slow reaction thing. When he was caught off guard by Cloud in the reactor after impailing him, Sephiroth had just gotten stabbed by the buster sword. While japanese fictional characters have stupid durability, Sephiroth during that time still had the same limits as any other human. If Sephiroth was shot in the head, he would die. Getting stabbed by a sword as wide as the buster sword is not something to brush off. Even if he hadn't been thrown into the wall by Cloud later on, he would die from that wound. So his reaction speed wasn't really a factor as he was severely injured and dying anyway. In Advent Children, he wasn't slow to react to the new omnislash. The entire scene and world around them was in slow motion except for Cloud who moved at what was visually real time. Let that sink in for a moment. Sephiroth was also in slow motion during that scene. The only time Sephiroth was in real time was when he was looking around, then it cut bck to slow motion for everyone but Cloud. This implies that Cloud simply was moving so fast Sephiroth couldn't keep up. Literally doing as the techniques imply, breaking limits the body normally cant do. Getting slashed by one of those blades is a serious wound and having been struck, Sephiroth had to take that and still try to keep track of Cloud which he couldn't do especially with the after images Cloud left behind. In that moment, Sephiroth just straight up got speed blitzed by a flurry of strikes he couldn't follow. I'm honestly a big Zack fan boy and would like for Zack to win this in some way. but I'm also realistic. This went down how it probably should have. Sephiroth is simply too strong for these two and on top of that, we never really get to see Sephiroth look as if he's trying.

Do you know what that sword had to pass throug to reach that point? Cloud's spine was straight up severed. AC however was just Sephiroth playing around. Sephiroth doesn't seem to want to kill Cloud. It kinda feels like Joker/Batman.

The Jenovah cells are gone, the advent children plague is gone, Sephiroth has no viable means to resurrect. Even Vincent dealt with other ways Sephiroth or something stronger could resurrect. The next threat might be Genesis but he seems more like a world soldier now (suped up with mako, bigger wing, glowing power).

Sephiroth COULD beat the two of them very easily. He manhandled Zack and the developers said that he was toying with Cloud in AC. If Sephiroth's only desire was to kill them, he could do that easily. The problem is, Sephiroth never does that and I doubt he'd do it in this case. He'd toy with them. While neither Zack or Cloud can hold a candle to Sephiroth, both have attacks that are powerful enough to kill Sephiroth if he's caught with one. Given that Cloud was able to land one on his own because of Sephiroth's arrogance, it's all but guaranteed something would be landed in a 2 v 1 encounter. So in short, if Sephiroth fought seriously, he' beat Zack and Cloud easily. In reality, he'd toy around with them and be beaten as a result. I disagree with the statements about Sephiroth's durability. His durability isn't as superhuman as his other traits, but he still was shown to take a lot of damage. He was impaled by the buster sword and was up a few minutes later walking around and hoisting Cloud up like it was nothing. That takes some resilience. And yes, he was killed by Omnislash v. 5, but it's not like we've seen anyone shrug that attack off. Sephiroth basically took several unchecked hits.

loved video as always and i hope you keep this series going but i understand if you dont continue it but i will advise to use other characters from the franchise and also outside the franchise like kingdom hearts and tales of series, plus trails in the sky series. like use lighting vs someone from ff, or the kingdom hearts side use sora,riku,or aqua vs someone. also try using Vincent valentine . basically variety is going to be your best friend in versus series. You already dont make the mistakes that death battle does and you know what you are talkiing about and i personally agree with basically all of your points cause you put in the effort to research and explain your reasons. Give you death battles resources and you would destroy them. Though i enjoy yours and antoine bandele are my favorites when it comes to versus battles cause as i said eariler both of you go into detail and explain your reasons so clearly .

Actually it's not as much as people losing interest, it's KZbin's algorithm. His videos rarely shows up in recommendations and that effects views a lot. There are so many Star Wars Versus videos out there and since those videos are what really made these type of versus series so popular, videos that are not Star Wars gets overshadowed.

your video is pretty good though not 100% accurate. Like Cloud never really saw how Zack fought with the Buster Sword. in CC it was mentioned he never saw Zack used that Buster Sword. The way how Cloud fights is more of a "how he THINKS Zack would fight" in CC or even the anime, we saw Zack fight in a much more free-style of not only using the Sword but also his fist n such but Cloud älways only uses the sword. They are very different in combat style

Delroy Malcolm Yeah, it’s a pretty dumb claim since the game explains that the two most powerful magic is meteor and holy. Aerith couldn’t summon holy without the planet, Sephiroth summoner meteor alone and he also completely nullified and control holy to the point that he turned it into a small sphere from which he emerged. So, Sephiroth was holding both meteor and holy back whilst fighting the party and he emerged from holy which means that a planetary magic spell is nothing to him. Meaning, Terra would do jack and shit to him.

Could and Would are very different things. Cecil has the ability to kill him in a fight, but I doubt he'd find himself in a good position to do so in a 1v1 situation

@@thepaperknight5908 Honestly even with the surprise of switching his moveset at his disposal it wouldnt do shit. He's got no attack spells (unless you wanna look at dissidia), he's vastly physically and tactically inferior to the point where Sephiroth could circle around him with very issue, and even if Cecil keeps himself in the fight using his white magic, Sephiroth can just play the waiting game and bombard Cecil with enough attacks to the point it wouldnt matter. Even taking Seph being a glass cannon into consideration, thats implying Cecil would be able to get close enough to surprise attack him effectively.

Well its not as simple as that Zack too is to blame, he had all that time and never thought to find a way to cover up his weakness. Ironically the man who trained him Angeal who he passed his fighting style down to Zack was smart enough to tone his style to contend with Sephiroth it seem everyone who every used the Buster Sword got the hint but Zack.

@@3TopicsReviewer Yeah, I see your point, I just said that because AC Cloud is pretty much a memetic badass in the FF universe. But yeah Zack should've gotten a lot more experienced and smarter when it came to his weapon choice. Probably what killed him when Shinra sent their army at them since in Last Order it's shown they were followed I don't see why he didn't pick up a few more practical weapons. Zack definitely had a badass last stand, but maybe if he had a more practical weapon he may have escaped with Cloud in time for Reno to save them

The Assassin's creed video the last one you made was more successful than this one you should try other characters rather than final fantasy. because I think that's the reason why people are getting sick of this series. People don't always want final fantasy people. Want something new how about you do something with Alex Mercer from prototype and you can put them in a versus battle with Cole macgrath for example. I mean the reason why people get sick because you put so many final fantasy characters. But hey that just my opinion.instead of this video you should do different characters and see how people react and then you can come to a conclusion. Best of luck to you

I still can’t get behind the idea that AC Cloud was any better than End of 7 Cloud. As good sure. But even Tifa says “remember how strong we all were 2 years ago, Cloud is still at that level” not- “holy shit Cloud is better than he ever was” Still enjoy your videos though!

Sephiroth states, "This strength...tell me where you found it," while fighting Cloud, suggesting that Cloud has improved since they last fought. Cloud and the rest of the group grew apart between the end of FFVII and AC, and Cloud had Geostigma up until the fight with Sephiroth (which Tifa also didn't know until she and Marlene visited the church). Even if she had seen him fight sometime between the end of FFVII and AC (although he became a delivery boy, still fighting monsters in the world and improving his fighting, while Tifa remained in the bar), he would have been afflicted by Geostigma, and she wouldn't have the full understanding of Cloud's capabilities at that the end of AC as his actual opponent would, Sephiroth.

You don`t have to see it as Cloud getting stronger in terms of the damage he can inflict but that he has changed the way he fights and has a greater chance of defeating Sephiroth because of this. Same as how Cecil is more adept at fighting undead by becoming a paladin, only on a smaller scale.

dassadec Consider this, the developer’s states Kadaj was as strong as Sephiroth end game of FF7. They claim Sephiroth had reached a new level of existence in AC, obviously stronger than Kadaj. And Cloud blitzed both of them.
