Haha. "That's Cornwall". Have to laugh. In Australia, where we almost universally have cream on top of jam, we call such a formal morning tea with scones a "Devonshire Tea."

It is only the vanity of the Human race that wants to determine that nothing exists unless a human is there to experience the occasion. The sound of bird song exists whether humans are there or not, as the call of birds is created for other birds, and it is more likely that the birds will be silent because of the presence of the humans. That doesn't mean that the birds aren't there. And consider the existence of the tree. Does the tree know or even care if there are humans unless there is a human there to cut the tree down? Humanity doesn't exist simply to verify the existence of sound, nor does sound exist to verify the existence of humanity. Simple logic says that if a person walks through the woods and hears 10 trees falling, then after the person leaves the forest and another 10 trees fall, the sound will still be the same. The presence of humanity is totally unnecessary for the sonic creation.

A sound wave is physical, by itself able to move objects. So yes, a tree falling in the woods does make a sound. And since silly is still up for debate, *the goddamn EGG came first!* Because, evolution. 😤😉

That's the unexplainable conundrum of evolution. In the debate of which came first, the chicken or the egg, if the egg came first, from whence did it come, and if the chicken came first, the same unanswerable question arises, where or more precisely, Who, created the chicken. If you don't like that question and say that it evolved from earlier species, the same unanswerable question is still there. Somewhere, way back in time, there had to be a beginning where something came from nothing. No matter how far back in the eons you try to go, there still remains the unanswerable question. That is why I cannot accept the theory of evolution, at least the theory that doesn't accept that there was an act of creation in the beginning by the Hand of God.

@ yeah… good old superstition then. Problem is, even though science often is proven inaccurate, it just keeps on disproving religion altogether - unless you still think that earth is the center of the universe and stars peepholes for angels to study us through. Having an evangelical childhood and upbringing myself, I know that you are not interested in facts that disprove your convictions, unlike science that at least is honest, open and humble enough not to claim being infallible. Unfortunately you keep on answering your own questions simply to dismiss them based on a 2000 year old fairytale, that is based on close to identical but even older fairytales. Evolution explains that the egg came first because other species and birds developed in eggs before the chicken… much like mammals did in the womb. If something came from nothing, the bible or quran doesn’t get anywhere close to an explanation either, as they can’t explain how a god came to be. Anyways, I’m old and arrogant enough to admit that this is about as much time as I am willing to waste on religious mambo jumbo, so I’ll give you the satisfaction of having the final word here. Take care!
