I agree. You're running the London Marathon for your ego or as an achievement. Why should I give money to a charity you've picked. Makes no sense really.

The problem with almost all charities, is that they become professional begging organisations. I'm lucky in that I am guilt free, so feel nothing by walking past each and every one of them. But I know some people feel that they are somehow in the wrong by doing this.

@@frankbrodie5168 yeah they definitely try to guilt you into it with facts about dying children or whatever it is. There's too many of them on my high st I can't stop at every one! Id rather give money to charity thru my own decision rather than guilted into it by a fake bloke with a clipboard!

Pigeons make lovely cooing sounds and are a lot less irritating than Aisling 'IYM ORISH!' Bea. One thing I notice about Miles Jupp (despite me 100% agreeing with brats climbing up slides and parents doing nothing) is that you disagree with him or make fun of what he's saying at your own risk. He either laughs hysterically and takes the joke well, or verbally annihilates you.

I hate management speak. I work in an office for the Irish Health Service and the emails are the worst. I just get to the point and talk like a normal person.

I hate that I’m *good* at it. Every time I have to write an email like that, everyone’s always like “…fuck, you’re really good at it.” Unless I’m being intentionally petty and passive aggressive, it makes me feel really dirty.

there's something about Ray that I inherently distrust.. on his shows he's lovely, then I'm always surprised to see in interviews or on panel shows, there's something dark about him. you can see it in his face.

1:01:27 I watched documentary set in Egypt and a part of the pyramids where you pay and go underground to view some artifacts . The place was strewn with chip packets and sandwich wrappers and polystyrene coffee cups . Absolutely disgusting . The attitude of the locals was disgusting They refused to pick up the rubbish because they don't care and it's not their job

34:40 I can put up with people wooping in audiences, people that whistle on the other hand, *especially* when said thing is being recorded for broadcast later? Line them up behind the shed. There's nothing more offensive to the ears than aggressive audience whistling being played back on a recording with nothing done to kill the highest frequencies of sound Maybe I'm part of a small minority and it doesn't bother most people I've no idea, I can still hear those stupid "mosquito alarms" that council's install in areas where kids hang around and I'm almost 30, so maybe I've just got weirdly sensitive ears for my age

You can hear higher frequencies, I have the same thing, those plug in pest control things are supposed to be inaudible to humans but they drive me nuts, a constant whine 😢 women typically have a slightly bigger range of hearing and in particular can hear higher frequencies better and as we age our hearing range can shrink and even move on the scale, usually to the higher end, hope that helps some 👍

Diane Morgan is so on point with the comment about magician's getting more out of it than the observers. No one over the age of 10 should ever be watching a magician. Same with riding bikes. THEY'RE FOR CHILDREN! GET OVER IT!

One youtuber I love went to a ‘mentalist’ in Vegas and they told a story about how after every trick, juuust as the applause was dying down, he’d yell “WHAT?! HOW!?” “BUT YOU…. BUT HE… WHAT?!” and trolled this bastard mercilessly. I always think about that when I see stage magicians.

I have hated magicians since childhood. Never understood why tricking people, pretending to be magic, was desirable. And when they are right in front of you personally, they're just needy attention seekers. Go away! I don't know you & you don't get my attention.

I do feel that some guests sort of miss the satirical point of the show. Who actually wouldn't want rid of pigeons for instance? That's not a Room 101 choice. It's common sense.

Strange. My thought was the exact opposite: who wants to get rid of pigeons of all things? They're utterly harmless, and it's our fault for building a bunch of boring grey buildings which happen to look like the cliffs which are their natural habitat. If you're going to target birds, why not go for gulls or Canada geese?

Ruby Wax? Yeah, she's got a history of being someone that people LOVE to hate! Not hard to see why, is it?! She's married to Ed Bye, who happens (happened?) to produce quite a lot of UK comedy, especially during the late 1980s and early 2000s. In fact, I think he produced some of *_her_* shows back then, when she was VERY popular in the UK (if you can believe that?! LoL!). I remember she played a few bit parts in some of Ed's UK shows as well, such as Red Dwarf in 1988/89...
