I've been watching your videos for a long time and always thought they were so helpful. I remember going through all of your playlists back when I was hoping and praying to become a piercer, asking every shop near me to apprentice me. I commute an hour but it finally happened one day and I'm actually a licensed piercer now. I still love your content with information that comes with all of the years in the industry you have under your belt. I'll never stop learning and your videos still inspire me. Thank you 🤘💕 PS I LOVE that you are revisiting piercings that you talked about years ago to keep up to date. Kudos

Congratulations on becoming part of the wild and incredible world of professional piercing!!! I'm always happy to hear that the videos have been helpful. Especially if they help to inspire others. It's one of the many reasons that I continue to produce them and it is me passing on the great kindness of those that helped to educate me in the past. Yeah, I had planned on putting all my consultations on line a while back. Basically it is a longer version of what I discuss with clients when they come in for a piercing. My plan is to do one for ever piercing we offer at the studio.

@@BodyPiercingTattooing Thank you and you're welcome! I don't get a new piercing without watching your videos on it first. You've saved me from getting a bad piercing because I new what the process should be beforehand.

I'm happy to hear that. It's all about helping people interested in piercings enough to make an educated decision.

It is a good thing that my hair is cut short because I have a vertical helix orbital in my left and a double standard vertical helix on my right:)

Not having to deal with hair makes it easier to do the piercing and to heal them.

It is let alone I have a daith, mid-helix (both),lobes, helix , double forward helix, tragus (it does have a tiny piercing bump), and finally a really cool conch to conch industrial:) So, in total I have a grand finale of 13 total piercings :) PS: I love your piercing constant and you are the reason why I got my vertical industrial piercing 😁😁

Glad you reached your goal and that in some way the videos helped you get there.

I do have a question for you:). How do I get a piercing bump to go away because I had one in March and in April I got to go away and then it came back this month because my dad shoved a phone into my tragus.

I would like to hear your thought about angel fangs piercing.
@BodyPiercingTattooing2 жыл бұрын
I'm really not sure what the long term effect will be and how much they really impact daily life. it all comes down to whether or not they have the anatomy to keep the jewelry away from teeth and gums. I have a feeling that like a lot of these newer oral piercings, they wear them for about a year or two and then abandon them because they are a hassle.

Could you make a video on the conch to conch industrial piercing? I’d love to get it done but there’s not a lot of information on the piercing

I'll add it to the list.

I always wonder, what is wrong with letting my clean hair dry against a healing piercing? I mean other than if you're wearing hair products in it
@BodyPiercingTattooing Жыл бұрын
The issue is that wet hair is a breading ground for bacteria and fungi Yes, you may have just cleaned the hair with shampoo and then maybe put conditioner in it but you haven't suddenly made it completely devoid of microorganisms. The longer the hair is wet, the more likely the growth of these microorganisms in that warm and moist environment and if you air dry your hair against an open wound, like a piercing, the more risk for infection.

I did do one on Orbital Piercings - kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2jInp6FZ7R0jM0. Not sure if one just covering orbital vertical is needed but I'll add it to the list.

spiral helix would love to see a review for that

I'll consider it. It really isn't a piercing that I still do. The jewelry being the main cause of issues and the piercings being constricted, making them prone to bumps.

Jewelry styles ? For this one ?

They should be pierced with either a flat back labret or a straight barbell. Both should give you a lot of options with the ends.

What about swimming in the ocean? I heard that saltwater is amazing for wounds or just in general.
@BodyPiercingTattooing2 жыл бұрын
See this is a complete misunderstanding that all salt water is fine. Medical grade saline is in balance with your body. The ocean has a much high percentage of salt than saline. Then there is pollution and the amount of microorganisms that leave in the ocean.

@@BodyPiercingTattooing Oh gosh😳 thank you so much, I’ve been told to just use fresh salt water 😅
