I nailed across the A5 Traverse in 1980. That belay at the end of the pitch on that prow is spectacular! Thanks for the great video.

Great video but is the message really just ''as long you don't muck up the rock / other people's ascent'' you're golden. Why does environmentalism in climbing media always only focus on inane things like ''style of ascent''? You've interviewed Tommy Caldwell in this video who recently posted about visiting an American Aircraft carrier with NATO on his Instagram. Do you know how much Carbon Dioxide the U.S. military emits? ''The U.S. Military Emits More Carbon Dioxide Into the Atmosphere Than Entire Countries Like Denmark or Portugal'' It's a little bit hypocritical for you to an environmentalist approach that solely focuses on climbing and style. This doesn't really have anything to do with the actual devastation caused by the amount of CO2 a country like the U.S. emits. People don't realize yet that in the West we are going to have to make REAL sacrifices. As in in 10 years there may be no oil / gas to put into your massive SUV to get to Yosemite. That plane flight you want to take on your Spring Vacation or whatever you Yanks call it down to Portrero Chico might not be running or might cost 10k Dollars....big sacrifices are coming. insideclimatenews.org/news/18012022/military-carbon-emissions/
