All it is, is a stabilized shot that's ramped up, add a little motion blur, and then uses a Zoom In effect (you can find plenty of presets online, chungdha has good ones)

It's actually called the "push pull technique" made famous by the movie vertigo. To get it in camera you need a dolly push or pull and work the lens zoom in the opposite direction. Bad ass tutorial though, never thought to add it in in post,Thanks man !

how do you make that fast forward video so smooth? at 0:15 I tried to fast foward my video that was shot with OSMO and it turn out to have that terrible up and down motion of walking
@FiresideCC7 жыл бұрын
Dato Aliff Alex - Warp stabilize it and then speed the clip up and add motion blur.
@madrid_seu7 жыл бұрын
instead of ilming put your camera on a tripod and move it a consistant distance and then put it together in after effects, or if you have a stabilizor try to hold it at the same height while walking
@michaelagisilaou94367 жыл бұрын
Also the sound makes it even more smooth, it's like an illusion.

For the lag, drop down that little menu to the right below your program monitor that says Full and set it to a lower resolution :) There's also some options if you click the wrench. Something to watch out for is black bars on top/bottom if you shoot wider formats like 4096 and put them in a 1080 sequence/comp - place another letterbox over to be safe. Using easy ease/in/out on the keyframes also makes the transition a lot smoother and more pleasing to look at.
