For those who says VDK is bank class VDK on ultras Malgor - same as QCM, makes party stronger due high magic reduction and replace SC Ezrajal- Works Engineer- Works Drakath- a strong QCM replacement for ultra speed strats Nulgath- Works Warden- still need LR to taunt at 400k so no one will die Dage- has the fastest run with a group with full Dauntless Drago - works in ultra Darkon... don't need a debuffer class

They reduced demise but gave a overall Dmg increase wich makes it better, all and all its better now, feels less slow to use and its pretty good for support/tank with a bit of dps, VHL has around 10k+ dps this class go arround 8k

in parties with valliance, vdk can deal 20k or more. with that damage, imagine your other party members damage.

but it was underwhelming itself even in parties now it does insane damage in big parties i think it meta now for a lot of ultras you dont need other classes hitting way harder if you can carry that yourself with their support

The best parts of the class aew still intact though. It did lose a bit of support on its auto attack but it’s main debuffs are still there. Now it just has a bit more of a comfortable time with either solo dps or better scaling in parties. Solid changes overall

you missed the point dude. even before it can give a great debuff on enemies, but its base damage are still low. so they increased its damage while its supporting capabilities are still there. i tried it in party. its even good on ultraspeaker now.

I'm kind of sad the class is so focused on beign yet ANOTHER support class which makes sense with how they're pushing ultra fights now a days but I do feel like at this rate VHL will simply exists as the best solo class in the game that you just use all the time until you fight an ultra boss if you have it. Theres really not other classes that are comparable enough to feel like you can just use it over VHL. I was hopin VDK would be the doomknight class that would reach that potential finally but it just falls into the catagory of "conditional support class" instead of powerful leader of darkness.

AE missed that most of us play the game solo. Yes we ask help from others but if we can solo things we solo things. To think they released a new doomknight class that is very popular, you cant blame the players for thinking it would shred and nuke anything.

This is mostly why I'm not even bothering with this class. Just recently finished DoT farm, and having a full party made my pc constantly sit at less than 10fps, almost exploding, and making game borderline unplayable, even on the lowest of settings and most animations disabled. And that was on mundane asf bosses with higher than average dmg and no gimmicks. There is no realistic way I'm doing the requirements for this one, unless I get a NASA pc which is out of my budget's reach.

Personally, or based on my experience with classes, overall its 3rd or 4th (Debatable) best class in the game, 2nd best class for support category and I'll put it 4th (Not included the calendar classes) for the dmg category. Also yes, it's worth it to get it immediately since this class has a lot of potential with ultra bosses and it is also very well balanced and easy to use!

@@crystalcortexx 2 days of pure grind should be enough (if you haven't pre-farmed some of the items), if you have time and got some of the required items from that 1 quest I remember, a day should be plenty! Also there's only 2 hard quest since it takes time to finish it (getting items - merge items) e.g. archfiend and shadowreaper of doom, and you need to have a good public team for the other quest cause its a hard boss (xyfrag,nerfkitten) but the other ones are surely easy peasy! Also, you're always welcome and have fun grinding! Remember that AQW = TIME

Just the right moment! There's an event ongoing that gives lots of exp. You should probably head in and grind those experiences and do make sure to equip the boosted experience items with a experience booster@@crystalcortexx

Some people are saying the changes were bad Some say the changes are good. I say the changes are fine. There are so many more good Support classes, and this class really can't compete against them considering most of its support was locked behind the 10 doom stacks. I'd rather have the damage right away and not have it locked behind a gimmick. Reducing Hit chance is worthless, since some bosses just have Guaranteed hits. The only thing I wish they added was lowering the damage the enemy did on the 2nd skill, but overall I think the class is slightly better than it was before.

What I don't get is why does AE insist on making more party based classes that ignore solo play in the first place? It's not like you'll ever be able to use it in an ultra group where it'll matter. The community will yell and tantrum at you constantly if you don't follow whatever 2 year old guide video they watched and not let you use anything but those four exact classes even if a new class is good. I've seen it happen all the time.

If VKD is VHL lite I may as well just stick with VHL. I IODAed VHL a few years back and even if I didn’t VDK is much more of a grind for something worse. You can’t even IODA VKD if I understand correctly. The grind to reward ratio in this game is all out of wack.

VKD farm is much much MUCH more easier from the lack of RNG alone. A total of 3,100,000 quest item drops for the last quest looks insane, but I'm pretty sure AE knows most people use bots anyway and it's just for the badge. Will be done in 3 to 4 hours, around the same time for legit nolifers.

It's hardly a buff. The class is nothing special without dauntless and the massive dmg output nerf by nearly 75% just made dauntless dps go poof. The fact that they call it a "buff" is laughable.
