I know how the guards feel. Sometimes people make me want to shout when they keep coming up to my guide dog and touching her and her harness. They seem to want to get into my personal space because I look different with my vision impairment and my guide dog, same thing people do to the guards because of their ceremonial dress and their horses when they’re on duty. They don’t care to educate themselves about what the guards actually do ☹️, or use common sense either. At least the guards have the benefit of being able to tell people directly without worrying about sounding “rude”. On the flip side, at least I can talk to people about my dog and what she does, whereas these good stoic heroes aren’t allowed to talk and have to endure endless taunting and continuous intrusion of personal space from ignorant tourists every day all day.

It gets so bads they start jumping around. All they have to do is change what type of bit they're using. It's not like these horses can say, "Hey, this damn thing is hurting my mouth!" They should recognize that, but they don't." 😢 They also could've developed a nervous twitch or behavior from an early age

It must be so frustrating for the guards to be yelling over and over the same thing to the tourists who don't follow the rules. They should be fined.
