@@raveendranpunathil just calculate it alright. you have a 28volt supply as he says. You have a 8ohm load. so the max RMS of that amplifier is 28/1.414, which is 19.8Volt AC max voltage swing. which would be 49Watt, but its still RMS, so its no real power. So to get the Real power out of it, you need to know what is the class of the amplifier and what is the rail voltage. In this case you have a class AB amplifier that runs about 60% efficiency. So when you have the numbers you can calculate it. 28VDC when you load the amplifier on 8ohms that the guy uses, the efficiency is 60% and the transistors will drop 11volts out of the game, and you will have the remaining 17volts, which you can calculate it to ac voltage by multiplying it by .707 or dividing it with 1.414. you get 12V-ac, and when you got this number you can calculate the output power. 12*12/8R. Which is 144/8, and which is whopping 18watts, and this is to 10% THD, in order to have under 0.1THD you need the headroom, so you would have only about 8-10watts into 8ohms. He would have to raise the power to +-30Volts (which is 60volts) DC to have 50Watts into 4ohms, which those big transistors are capable for it. Those big transistors are even capable to run on +-50volts DC and then you can have 100Watts into 8Ohms. Im sorry brother, but learn proper eletronic calculations before you throw arround words about watts.
