I played Efren in Angeles City Pampanga once, race to 9, i only potted a 2 3 and a 4 in rack 3, missed the 5 and from there it went to 9-0. He missed another couple of times but i couldn't capitalize on that, but i had the honor to play against the greatest pool player that ever picked up a pool cue. Why is every thumbnail in this channel made it look like everybody is looking down on Efren? I know for a fact that most of the pool players especially the pros respect Efren very much and even considered him as the goat
@No16EfrenTheGreat4 ай бұрын
In some ways because Efren Reyes as you can see is very old in appearance, and most players in this age are not gonna perform as expected, so players sometimes think in their mind that Efren maybe the greatest, they think his age is gonna have a factor in his performance but they were wrong as Efren Reyes performs like he is just 30 years old oftentimes beating young players in their prime

I played Vivian in Waterform Michigan when women's Billards was hot on ESPN and this was one stop on the tour. While the main table was the only official game, the players played attendees on the other tables so they could keep warmed up between matched. I asked Vivian to play. She broke and ran the Table for the first game. In the second, I did the same and she repeated for the third game. She shook my hand, told me I am a good player and then she went on to her match. This was nearly 30 years ago, and still one of my best memories.

Completely Click bait title. She says nothing of the kind and there is no reason to think she was trying to intimate him. Hopefully, you read this comment before you decide to watch this video.

@dwaynejordan5898 Yeah, I know what you are saying. It's just that the titles don't need to be so false. They seem to be getting worse each day. If the title was something more truthful and people were interested, they would watch it. If someone wanted to watch it because they wanted to see some controversy between the two players like the title suggests, then they will be disappointed. Why go down that road. Cheers!

I come from Southeast Asia county, just like Brother Efren did, he comes from Manila, Phillipine,... and I'm from North Sumatra, Medan City. We knew him so well around this region, the unbeatable king of Pool, even a snooker king like Steve white cannot beat him in a duel meet or Invitation game. That was a long time ago, now our Champion has grown old and retired, but still we can enjoy him play.We all love his style in Pool table, His body language shows, humble and down to Earth. We love his style very much.

When you are that good its is so refreshing to see him be so humble.

Why do your thumbnails imply opponents either arent familiar with Reyes or they disrespect him. Neither are true and you are making clickbait.

That lady is not used to losing. She thinks she is facing a rookie player😂

@13:55 is that nice to do that? I don't think so

I doubt it matters, she did that then gave him a hug. She was simply conceeding the match rather than wait for Efren to sink what was a very easy shot.
@kennethotieno86802 ай бұрын
We do this all the time in our pool club. It's conceding defeat, and denying your opponent the chance to embarrass you with the last shot, especially if it's an obvious, easy shot

Can you imagine him being back in the days where he was this good playing against Minnesota fats and all the best down back in those days and it beats every single one of them I would love to see that either. I mean Kat that we said hilarious.

Minnesota Fats was a joke. Saw him play in person in Indiana when the Hustler came out in the early 60's and he lost to a local and Fats blamed it on the table.🥴

@@oldgoat50Always thought Fats was more of a showman than an actual legendary player. Very skilled compared to most but not in the same league as Efren.

His humidity is his strength, as someone mentioned that , to play against him is a very big prize.
