​@@montv2it's not that bad. One of those $30 skins basically has 16 skins in 1. You pick 1 of the base 4 elements, then later on evolve by combining it with another element. Each combination has unique SFX and VFX. Another $30 skin, DJ Sona, comes with 3 soundtracks that literally change the bgm in that match and allow you to to pick the tracks that play for everyone else. If you like the game, getting one of those skins actually felt like getting a luxury item, the effort that used to go into those skins was just miles ahead of any other skin in the game. And people would find you cool for owning one. Nowadays if you show up with a "premium" skin, people just laugh in your face for being a paypig.

If they added an Isha little legend you can equip outside of TFT that is exclusively bundled with this skin, added random interactions with the Arcane cast voiced by the Arcane cast, came with an animated Jinx border that has Jinx scribbles randomly appearing on other people's champ splash art where everyone can see it in the loading screen, and had cool emotes that were voiced by Ella Purnell herself, I would definitely get this skin and not regret it. On a side note, why did they make Zapper fused with Pow Pow? it wasn't in Arcane

Thats just the tip of the iceberg. Riot is taking out the masterwork-chests beginning next year, including the progression. Also they are reworking the Event-passes so you cant buy stuff with tokens anymore instead you get fixed rewards and getting to the end gives you the opportunity to loop small amounts off blue and orange essences instead of tokens. You get like 3 ancient sparks per battle-pass and no mythic essences at all. The only way to get them (as far as I can see) now is to buy ancient sparks and roll them. I can see why you think gacha = mihoyo, but have to disagree. Azur lane and granblue fantasy were way more influential compared to honkai, and granblue doesn’t even have proper pity.
