Definitely remember this creepy psa! But, there was one that was even worse, which I still cannot find to this very day. He was called The Scorcher, a red devilish mascot for forest fire prevention in Saskatchewan in the early 70's. With a very creepy modulated voice. There were both tv and radio ads, and I was known to go running out of the room screaming and crying when they aired! Lol. Would love to see/hear it again, all these years later.

As a child of the 70s, this was a nightmarish ad for me! And it isn't just the Fear a scary man in a bear suit.... it's the GUILT!! LOL Guilt was used in PSAs a lot then. Chief Iron Eyes for example. Still a nightmare to me!
