mine loved being brushed out. I could pick up the brush, they're run to a shady spot in the yard, lay down and go to sleep while I went to work. The one occasionally got a little lopsided because getting her to lay down on the one side was a pain. You could push her over gently in one direction but the other she'd push back and look at you confused. Goldens are a loving dog but they also tend to be a bit dim sometimes.

Oh my gosh she's just adorable! I am a police officer and there is a squad in my building who investigate very serious child abuse, they have a golden/lab mix called Champ as an office support dog. He's trained to recognise when they are getting stressed and brings a toy or his lead to the detective to remind them to take a breather. It is an absolute treat when I see Champ in the elevator or around the building he is so handsome and sweet. Hopefully we get to see Katie again! 💜

Wow, an Office Support dog! Who needs training? Dogs are so tuned into people they're the most empathetic creature in the world. What a great idea, maybe Champ will replace the Chaplain. Maybe not, sometimes you just need to talk things out. And, although dogs listen really well, they can't go that extra mile.

I was always wondering why therapy Dogs aren´t mandatory for certain Police Departments. Those People see so many bad Things during their Career, yet their keep it up for the Safety and Happiness of the Community. Same for Firefighters and Hospital Staff. Lots of Love from Germany, whoever had the Idea of bringing Champ deserves a Medal. And Champ deserves all the Treats in the World

I had a black lab/golden mix. He was absolutely the best good boy. He was super smart, eager to please, easy to train, and had all the energy. When he was a puppy he insisted on walking to the mailbox with me, which was a little too far for puppy-him (it was a good distance away), so I would wind up carrying him when he'd had enough. He had the floof of a golden, was all black, and wagged his tail like a lab.

I always appreciate it when groomers know how important it is to take extra measures with puppies. When I took my puppy for her first grooming session, the groomer made it clear that no, the puppy might not come home 110% clean and glamorous, but it'll be a good, positive first experience. That first session is critical because a bad experience can really make her afraid of grooming in adulthood, which can be reversed but takes lots of work.

Yes...sad...but as someone 80 plus who is loosing her dogs to old age...again....i dont.dare get another dog...tho i crave a puppy...i got to babybsit a puppy beagle for a week not too long ago...he was in heaven learned sit stay...sort of...and paw...and got to roam the yard when ever his little heart desired with an experienced well behaved ancient furbaby who.was.exteemly patient with him..in about half hour increments. Man i sure hope.we have furbabies in heaven.

I’m a groomer and I’ve seen the channel you’re talking about. That groomer should be reported to the rspca for the way she treats the dogs she grooms. It’s abuse. If her clients saw a normal groomer (like Vanessa), they’d never take their dogs to that groomer again.
