This looks so absolutely delicious, especially with the added snow peas! But, what can I use to replace the oyster sauce? I am very allergic to shellfish so I can't use it. I do want to try this soon as it looks so good! Thank you for posting it.

I use the vegetarian oyster sauce This oyster sauce is made using the essence extracted from mushrooms and is excellent when used to flavor soup, vegetable, and other vegetarian dishes.

Oh, thank you! I had no idea there was such a thing as vegetarian oyster sauce. I live in a very small town at the far Northern end of the Idaho Panhandle and we just never get those kind of things in our markets up here. I will look for it on Amazon as I want to try your dish very soon! Thank you again!

Here is a recipe that you can make at home 1 mushroom stock cube (use ordinary vegetable if you can't get it) 2 to 3 tbsp boiling hot water 2 tbsp black or brown bean sauce OR brown rice miso 1 tbsp dark brown sugar 1 heaped tsp cornflour dissolved in 1 tbsp cold water

Thank you! That looks pretty easy to make. I usually have a jar of condensed mushroom stock in the fridge and miso too. Thank you so much!
