I know the feeling Debbi. I'm very much dependent on my left hand. I couldn't figure out how to flip doing it the opposite direction, but i have found that i can follow these tutorials and enjoy trying my third attempt at crocheting. I say, if I can do it anyone can cause if I ever broke my left arm I'm in serious trouble.

I love this pattern too! I just want you to know my Dad passed away last month and my husband and I have moved in with my Mom. She had crocheted a little a long while back but didn’t know much and she is now asking me to show her some things to help her get through this difficult time in her life because she was with my Dad for 55 years and I have shown her your channels to so she can learn from the best teacher ever! You have made my life so much better again and again and I thank you for everything you do and for being you! Much love ❤

Hi Crystal, I made this and found an extra chain was needed after row one of the shells, starting row two. Mine was bowing on the right side, as the stitches were too tight with just the SC before making the three DCs for the half shell. Also I did the foundation chain in a 6mm hook, then the body of the shells with a 5mm. This kept the bottom straighter with less tension on the chain. Shell row as usual in both loops and then at the end of row one, SC, Chain 2, turn and continue. Hope this is useful for anyone who's scarf/blanket is bowing on the right side. 😊💞
