I would like to see Joey start introducing some planted tanks. I know he's more about the fish than the plants but it could be a learning opportunity for both him and his viewers. I think it would make those beautiful Aquadecor backgrounds pop even more.

Kinda like the idea of the gallery staying exclusively fresh water. Kinda also like the idea of the basement becoming a salt water gallery. Kinda also like the idea of a black clownfish colony with coral.

Do a brackish set up!! Represent a another part of the hobby!! With mangroves and estuary speicies. Skimmers still work! And use a Deep Sand Bed Filter with worms and other mud type organisms. Mollies scats and other types of brackish fish! Puffers too, I had a green spotted puffer who was a pet fish and I floated mangroves and they grow awesome roots

I don’t understand why you won’t try the shark egg hatching again. I mean, you got new arowanas after buddy died. The project was so loved, and your viewers didn’t get to see it out. IMO, the sharks were much more interesting that that lion fish. Anyone can get a lion fish. It was something special, observing the shark journey with you and the viewers. Such a heart felt experience.

Lionfish in the gallery once the peacock bass are grown big enough, and in the top tank a nice reef with a few simple corals and a few hardy reef fish. Shared system to have a larger water volume altogether. The goldfish can go in the tank you were going to place opposite Frank and the 375

Do a saltwater tank with some softie corals.. totally easy to do, and the corals are cheap, forgiving, and easy! Leather corals, nephthea, zoas, mushrooms... Duncan corals! Love my little reef tank just as much as my planted tanks I started with!!

Hey Joey, I have an idea... Make the room your Lion fish is in a saltwater gallery. Start with a huge center square tank like 4 ft by 4ft by 18” tall (center display) then build custom saltwater tanks along the walls in that room. Once you get your saltwater gallery going think about how many Saltwater subscribers you’ll additionally have to freshwater subscribers. make the 1 million into 2 million! That will really reach more fans.

Your getting all the salt creep because of the cover you use, look at Red Sea mesh covers, they sit below tank level so you don’t have any salt build up.

I think you should try a reef tank you have the lights for it now and the rock just wait a lil longer for the tank to fully mature and the ride begins but be careful reef tanks are contagious...lol love your videos

I fill my salt bucket to the same point every time. I measured out exactly what I needed one time, and I've just been adding the same amount ever since. I confirm my numbers with a refractometer, but it's always really close.

I have a small cheato reactor on my 360 gallon saltwater aquarium I haven't done a water change in about 3 months and everything is still perfect and. I also have a UV sterilizer.

I have not changed water in my saltwater fish and invertebrate tank in years. An excellent protein skimmer and testing to remove phosphates , check alkalinity and PH are required to achieve this. Water is blue clear .

Joey! I was watching one of your previous videos I just forget which one it was. You had mentioned something about turning a aquaclear filter into a breeder overflow box. I've been trying different methods of building it and I think the best way would be to drill holes into it and change it to a hang inside box. I would really like to see a quick DIY filter build of how you would go about this before I drill holes. I'm sure you have many ideas and can't wait to hopefully see a reply.

Lol mixing salt is fun the first 2 times. Rodi water takes forever. I wait 8hrs just for 25gal... saving up for a auto water change system as the amount of time saved will be huge.
