I took this part out of a whole interview because I wanted to preserve the essence of that interview. I thought this part was the most important message and could make a real difference in the life of a person.
Often we just need to hear the right words in the right moment to have a lifelong positive impact on our life.
Thank you for all the love in the comments for this great man!
Great actor, smart man, good man. He was a rare individual.

Sir, this is going to sound weird, but my father passed away just a day ago. I think reading this has helped even though it wasn't directed at him. His life seemed filled with adventure, he was married to the love of his life until she, too, passed away, and he seemed very happy for his children. I think he became an even better dad the older he got. "He finished living" is much better than saying that he died. I hope you have a great rest of your life, dude. Thank you.

I took theatre in college and my prof told me that character acting was by far the most rewarding and ever lasting choice. To be a romantic lead and/or an ingenue was what Christopher Lee said very limiting and short lived. You are the flavour of the month, year or decade and disappear with the newest look or trend. But to be a chameleon THAT is an everyman or woman that will always get work no matter how old you get. Look at All the older actors they play Everything and sometimes they are so good you don’t even recognize them!

He gained his experience by actually working his way up by doing a bit of every job related to his. He went from laying down hot asphalt to being the one overseeing those jobs across regions of the state. He spoke of engineers right out of high school with a superiority complex, which always rubbed my dad wrong. Engineers wanted to build an aesthetically pleasing bridge. Something unique that would get them some clout. I don't know about that. I think he was, well, safe for a lot of us. I don't mean that in a mean way. He was an actor we all remembered in some way from our childhoods. And so once we got older, the people who grew up watching him wanted him in their movies.

He got bored of the Dracula role quite quickly. I read the only reason he agreed to do it for so long, was purely out of kindness, so all his friends and co-workers in the crew at Hammer were kept in work during some of the hard times the studio were having. What a gent. So much depth to his character, so many sides to this man. Honour and kindness are fast becoming forgotten words.

@@giacomoromano8842 I remember somewhat how Peter Jackson described it. To paraphrase: "Do you know what happens when you stab someone in the back? Because I do..."
