@@cutlerylover It means it's cheap knives that I use to get from a store called A & K. They had dozens of knives and swords, all cheaply made. Blade material was 440 stainless, which is as cheap as you can get. The handles that look metal are made out of some sort of pewter alloy, really cheap, can melt it with a blow torch. If someone wants a quality knife, they're going to be looking to spend 60+ dollars on one. A high quality one, they're going to be spending 200+. I still bought two 12 knife mystery boxes from Blade City, but most of the knives were just whatever, and all the steel was low quality. Meaning, you will be sharpening after each heavy use, and that just isn't viable.

I've been a part of blade city for a couple of years now. I even had a monthly subscription to get a mystery knife once a month. some stuff was pretty cool some stuff was OK. but all in all I like blade city and I would recommend them. And if you purchase anything from them, they have a free gear section you can always add 1 item with every order. (Tip- if you have more than 1 item you are purchasing then order each item separately so you can add free gear to every order)

Their store is in Miami. Great place and everything is good. If you go to the store they have great customer service. Online is good as well. I would totally recommend to go to the store if you're near Miami.

Just thought I'd mention the knuckle knife dagger combination is a copy of "Burns" razor knuckles it's cool that they offer something obviously more affordable than Burns at $2,000. Definitely pick up one of those id just hope it built to quality standards, after all you would have to be doing pretty while financially to get one of Burns Knuckle razor.

I was really skeptical of blade city but I ordered one of their CS style balisongs (cheesy as hell, i know). It came pretty sharp, hasn't fallen apart on me yet, the only complaint with it is the spring latch is pretty crappy. That's to be expected though.

not, I dont think these are any more dangerous than a butter knife of course anything thats misused can be dangerous, what I mean by novelty is that its not great quality so in my opinion and experience with similar items they will eventually break but I dont think when they break its a danger to the user I just think it would be disappointing to see them break...So I see the reason for getting these is to show off, add to a collection, or use lightly on occasion but constant usage of any of these items I would expect them to break eventually...unlike a quality item that can be regularly used for years...

I haven’t purchased anything from Blade City but I too had their advertising popping up everywhere so I checked out the site too. The vast majority of their stuff was cheap novelty stuff like that which I wasn’t interested in so I didn’t look around much. But funny enough, I actually have one of those “dart guns” that I got a while back from a different site. If the one you got is anything like the one I have then despite the novelty of it, it actually functions very well. Borderline awesome actually. Ha. It does have some crazy strong springs in it that send those darts out like a freakin missile, no joke. But seriously, just a little PSA here: IT SHOULD NEVER BE POINTED AT ANYONE EVER. Even if you’re just doing it in jest, because if that thing was to go off and somebody got hit with one of those darts, they would be in some seriously legitimate pain, probably bleeding profusely, and would most likely need to seek some professional medical attention. But other than that, it is pretty cool to whip out and show off when you have friends or family over. Haha.

I got the micro otf off of the website. It was on sale and they had that free knife deal going so I figured there was nothing to lose. I Iive in NYC and the shipping took like 6 days. The edge on the micro otf was pretty much nonexistent but it was still a fun fidget toy. I've opened and closed it atleast 2,000 times and there has been no issues. Living in NYC, I can't carry it our anything lol and I'm surprised they even shipped it to me but I'm not complaining. I also got their pen knife just for novelty.

The dart gun reminds me that in middle school back in the 1970s, we’d cut off the end of an old pair of sneaker laces, leaving only the aglet (the hardened taped end) with about an inch of lace still attached to it. We’d then fray that one inch of lace attached to the aglet, turning it into a feather-like appendage to stabilize the dart in flight. Then we’d insert an old hat pin through the frayed end, pushing it through the length of the aglet until it stuck out the front. Slide that sucker into the end of a plastic straw, give it a good puff, and you had a miniature blow gun that shot a dart across the room and into the drywall or couch cushion. It’d probably get a kid growing up today arrested for producing a terroristic weapon, but it was a blast.

Blade city is more of a display kinda thing based off of some of their products. Some of them I’ve seen are actually pretty good... but yet again I see a lot of “less” functional knives. I have the app on my phone for this company. I was wondering if they were trustworthy or not. They seem to carry more novelty knives much like Grindworx or Direct Knife Sales which is great for me because I like collecting novelty knives. However similar to Grindworx they are out of stock on many of their products. Do they ship quickly? Grindworx tends to be a bit slow getting their orders out, usually takes them about three days or so to get it to the post office for delivery.

Beware of Blade City, they very recently started carrying Gerber(thats there most high end premium brand) its all cheap chinese stuff ( M-Tech, Tac-Force, etc) Viper Tec there sister co has some cool looking OTFs but they're prices are way to high for the low quality. You can get anything they have from WISH for 1/4 price(probably what they do, then mark it up and send to you)

How come no one ever goes over the blade wobble like I know that there is always wobble or vertical play unless you get a hawk deadlock of course which cost you over a $1000. But I have an AKC F16 that honestly has less play than an ultra tact that I asked HQ to look over from me and inspect and indeed it does so I see a lot from blade city that they call their own custom for a $110 but if it's Justice of wobbly and readily I might as well buy a lightning out the front. I just don't understand why people never go over the blade wobble. Even the $200 ones have blade wobbled to but they don't rattle but no 1 ever goes over the blade play which I never understood
