Got mine in the mail yesterday ~ It IS EAR PIERCING LOUD …. I have another one on my Ariel Grizzly Rider that comes with a separate horn and this appears to be LOUDER than it ( I’m KEEPING BOTH on it ) Along with the Litelok X1 probably will invest in one more lock for the front and I should be as secure as it’s possible… But YES this alarm would definitely be a RECOMMEND one thing I’m not sure what the blue part that comes with it is for that looks like a guitar pick

besides the sound working when someone moves the vehicle/bike. does the actual fob vibrate or anything to notify that the alarm is going off?

If you can't adjust for how long the alarm should go off, then it's a deal breaker. After a minute or two there's no need for the alarm to keep sounding, either the guy took off with your bike or he ran away. But if an accidental bump makes your alarm go off, the alarm will just keep going forever, pissing everyone off.

Don't go on long bumpy roads, and if you are you can disable it temporarily. If your alarm goes for long periods it would just discharge and you'd likely forget to recharge it and there goes your bike too

Looks tempting. My problem with this model is that it sounds forever. Disc brake locks with alarm usually run for 10s periods, only if the c**t keeps messing around. Imagine if the alarm goes off and you are not around. Man the whole neighbourhood will want to hang you Lol. Great review though.

Hopefully your neighbours would b more concerned with thief lurking rather than annoying sounds, and wiukd comw out to see what's happening

@@UnboxingArmy Not sure that's a good point. By the time those neighbours show up, let's say at 3:OOam, the thief is probably gone (if there was ever one) and now all they are left with, is an alarm that just won't stop until the battery runs out or they call the police for assistance.

Why is mine making random sound! I mean I parked my bike outside my room and heard alarm sound 2 times. After that I took my bike inside and observed, no one touched it and it started making alarm sound! Since then I haven’t turned it on in public, I think I have to return it.

The sensitivity is quite strong, i beleive there is a sensitivity setting look at adjusting that

I just purchased one and put it in my mailbox. I tested it and the alarm sound what's going for about 30 seconds then it stops? And resets it's self . Does this sound right how it's supposed to work? Because I just read some people saying it never shuts off if you're not home and the alarm goes on

I bought it ! IT IS A TRASH. Almost unable to get to the battery to replace it. Super bad design. Nobody talks about the battery life or replacement ? Installing on a zip ties ? are you kidding me ? I can cut zip ties in 3 sec and throw this device away 100ft. Nobody would even know why it is making noise. The whole idea and concept is an absurd.
