Don't know if I want cordless or the corded 300. Corded usually lasts longer. And for a grand I'd rather have longevity instead of total convenience.

I have the cordless one. Once you go with the cordless you will never go back to corded. And the battery lasts long.

Regardless of the depth, the saw killed the rest of the first battery and was about to die on the second new battery before he intentionally shut off the saw. Not impressed with the cordless.

got a makita 18volt trim saw £130, does 2" on diy rail . I love Mafell but this saw is missing 2" cutting big mistake £700 no thanks

The kss 50 and kss60 will both do 2” this saw is designed for trim work.

Great idea. Very odd plunge mechanism with those vertical rods & no spring tension & no depth stop. The lock is also questionable... simple cam with limited travel. Gotta love that flexi track idea though.
