Chrome brick? Meh. DUPLO chrome brick? Now we're talking!! Funny usage I have in mind for them: people use DUPLO bricks to build the supports of the inside of the LEGO Mountains. Usually you don't get to see the inside, or you're not supposed to. What if instead it was built in a way that you're supposed to see? Like some sort of super secret inside world. And at the center of it, the chrome DUPLO bricks. They could even be mined to create all the chrome LEGO items or something

Ooh, I love that idea!!

@roosjen actually, any DUPLO brick could be mined, to produce LEGO bricks. We can even reuse the "big Lego brick" builds like in the Ant-Man set or the LEGO Movie 2, and break them a bit to symbolize that

That display sounds like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow such as belongs to a leprechaun

That 2 by 6 chrome gold lego brick. I'm pretty sure it was made by a lego company called "Chrome Block City" and this piece comes around about $13 dollars. Your welcome!

I don't know how I'd feel if I worked at LEGO and received a chrome DUPLO brick because I likely wouldn't be working in that department. Give the DUPLO Designers the DUPLO brick, I'd want a regular LEGO brick. I think the big hangup is that the studs are hollow, which is part of how DUPLO and LEGO can be in system with each other, but a larger LEGO brick would be a bit more appealing to me, kind of like how every other oversized brick you see is just a scaled up LEGO brick.
