Yes Transperth have done the same thing with the Mandurah Line. If a service is running late

Used to get the B pattern every morning to school back in the day, express from Bassendean.

All those years ago, very nice. They only run the B pattern on the Midland line during big delays to make up time

So rhat’s why I noticed long delays on the Fremantle and Midland lines

The main reason why there were delays in the first place was because of a broken down train in the neutral section next to City West. I happened to be on that train. As soon as the train geared into neutral the engine stopped completely. It sat there for 30 minutes before a B series pushed it to West Leederville for everyone to disembark.
