First time I’ve ever seen a musical lighter before.
@Ron-vq3zl3 жыл бұрын
Austin Hughes, My first time also, & I must say I'm quite surprised by it! Judging from the identical font used for that lighter's brand name: "Aria." I'd venture to guess that this lighter was either manufactured by, or made in corroboration with; the Aria Musical Instrument Company. Can't say for sure of course, but I just have a hunch about it! Wow I never in a million years expected to find a video of this nature. I have an old Aria and the music doesn't work. It was my husband's and I found it in some of his things I was going through. I think it was over wound and needs a new flint. You are truly an artist. That was so well photographed and every step was beautifully demonstrated. Such a steady hand. I just loved watching this precise in motion. I don't think I can do this myself. I don't have the tools or the patience. I am 78. I was dying to know what the tune was. Fur Elise. Wow. I love that tune. I learned to play it by just memorizing the notes. I don't play the piano. All in all I will have to say this was just a super delightful find. You are in my treasured bookmark folder. Thank you ever so much for this stunning video. Very grateful on many levels.

I am so glad you have this video! I just found the exact same lighter at an antique shop and had to get it. Then I found your video when I was looking for some kind of guide. Mine wasn't as corroded by any means but did need to be cleaned up. Your video helped me and I realized that I am missing 1 screw but still managed to get the lighter working. Thank you!

Brasso is great, Nevr-Dull is even better, and not as messy! I used Brasso when I was in flight school in the Air Force, Nevr-Dull later when I found out about it. Nevr-Dull also polishes metals, beautifully, that Brasso won't touch.

Hi I watched your video and restored the lighter it’s now working great! However when I took out musical component it literally fell apart? The “plate” the pieces were on is plastic it broke into pieces. At this point all I want to do is get the case connected back to the lighter but can’t figure out how to or what to connect the “screw and music box key” help please
