@@chriskelly4894 very aware of that. However unlike a Disney character, they are definitely preforming security. They have so many people that just walk over and snap pics you have to wonder if it interferes with this. Also to me it seems a little rude to do something like that without asking first. Some of the guards are not permitted to speak while on duty.

I liked how the boy was very attentive to what the guard was telling him.. He petted the horse just as the guards showed him. Although I did find it very funny that the horse tried to nibble on him. The horse's tongue was ticking out meaning he was being silly and was very relaxed. At least that's my take on horses when their tongue is sticking out thesSide of their mouth. Thank you to the guards who put up with the tourists to protect the King and before the Queen when she was still alive.

I think most of the guards do not want children to be scared. That’s why they do this. Kids should be around animals much more in their lifes and many of them cannot. I am pretty sure the guards know that and maybe feel for the children. The guards luckily have jobs they love, we have presume. Being with the horses is a vital part of it. They were able to learn to ride, which is privilege only a few of us can have. Particularly these days.

There is a polite and proper way to say "hello" to a horse. Nothing wrong with doing so. Some horses might have an issue with so many people back to back, but this horse is obviously enjoying meeting all of these people, especially the children.
