Honestly, as long as both people are kind, are willing to compromise on things, are able to communicate, and have compatible life goals, the marriage will be successful (nobody's perfect, but listening, and being willing to work with the other person solves probably 80% of all problems). I wouldn't encourage people to marry young (as a rule, I do think waiting until you're in your 20s or 30s is better), but if you find the right person, than go for it.

I was so sure that I was mature and old enough for marriage at 23 - but now at 37 I know that I still had a LOT of growing up to do! What was lovely, is that my husband and I have grown up together (even though he is 4 years older - I reckon we are and always have been about equal maturity wise 🤪🧐) we still are totally in love and we have two amazing kids age 12 & 10 that we adore! I still find it crazy that people my age can be in such different life stages! A friend I went to school with was wishing her son a happy 18th birthday today, then so many people don’t marry/ settle down until their mid thirties and they may have a newborn or toddlers at my age.

I’m 19, and couldn’t think about getting married right now. But, at this age, people have different aspirations. My cousin is my age, just had a kid & she’s engaged. And I’m at uni, trying to get my degree and a solid job before I settle down and have a kid. I just think it’s a personal choice at this point

Watching these shows reminds me of the total meltdown my daughters all had in the dressing rooms when they found their perfect dresses. We took nobody but the brides and myself to their dress appointments. Didn’t want too many opinions on the dress choices to confuse their decisions, and I’m convinced that allowing them to make the choice unhindered was the best decision I made. The 5 girls knew that if they loved their dresses , and were happy that dad and I would be happy for them too.

I'm getting married as a 21 year old and i'm so blessed and excited for this prospect! There are people that are 18, completely ready to be making such a commitment and those that are 50 that are not, it is truly subject to the individual. The bride in this video is absolutely beautiful! Also, i absolutely love Lori's new hair, she looks so beautiful, not to mention how sleek Monte looks!

My grandma got married at 14, great grandma at 13. Both had long lasting marriages until they passed away. Both beautiful and loving with lots of kids, I have 9 great aunties and uncles, and from my grandma I have 1 auntie and 6 uncles. They never divorced or remarried when the other spouse died (grandpas). My mom got pregnant with me just as she was turning 15, never got married but always lived with my dad as common law. They separated when I was 12 but they’re best friends now. Honestly people can’t say getting married too young is Irresponsible, when that was the norm back then. Now the legal age is different of course, but hey it worked for lots of people. Bless you in your future marriage and may you have a long lasting and beautiful relationship forever 💜
