Awesome Spidey collection!!, I sold my Spidey collection and most of my books/magic cards/instruments/etc a couple years back. It was about 20 years of stuff, slowly I pick a pick a book here and there, getting what I can back. I wish your friend finds himself in the same position in that he finds the hobby again when the time is is right.

Collect what you love. That’s what they say. If you like it but don’t love it, move them along and make some profit to get the stuff you truly want. That run is pretty incredible though! It would be cool to get those few books that are missing to complete the set and then you can set up a HUGE Spider-man sale! Make it a BIG event. Maybe give away an extra Spider book/s every time you hit a certain total of sale to give people incentive to buy. Thanks for sharing, I will no question keep an eye out to what you do with this set. Plus I can see just rewatching this video because it’s a great collection of Spidey!

I think my jaw is still on the floor watching you go through the slabs in those BCW black cases. I would love to know what that ASM #17 is going to go for. Green Goblin is my favorite and #14 and #17 are the 2 books I don't have for him but have all the rest. I'm going to have to message you as there was a book not shown in those slab runs that maybe you just passed over I need to finish one of those completionist run projects I have been working on for over 10 years now and have only 1 missing piece left.

You should watch the auction sites for raw copies of #17. As long as you're not super picky on grade those often get a little ignored. I got a lower grade raw copy for around $300 not that long ago, and honestly I think it was undergraded.

I admire the time, attention and resources your friend put into compiling this fantastic giant haul 👍 Just looking through the non-graded early books was like a dream for a Silver Age kid (now almost 60) like me 😊 I have a similar FF run, with #21 to the end and all of the alternate titles, one-shots, annuals and giant-sizes, and I love my collection dearly. Love love love the ASM books. Grew up in the 60s and Spidey was my favorite. I try not to think of all the early ASMs I had that got worn out from reading and traded or tossed out in a cleaning binge by my wonderful mother.

Wow thanks Gary for sharing this with us I'm a big Spider-Man fan and Comic Collector for 30 something years now my first comic book I ever got my mom got me from 7-Eleven when I was 9 years old!! web of Spider-Man issue 41 that got me started in collecting comics I do collect different Heroes like Superman Batman flash Green Lantern Captain America Hulk Daredevil and my second favorite characters Wolverine but of course Spider-Man is my first so I have majority of my collection are Spider-Man comic books anywhere from amazing spectacular web and Spider-Man and anything else that he came in!! 👍
