The best kitchner stitch description ever. The hardest part for me has been to remember the 4 stitch sequence. This is such a simple way to remember;, K off p, p off k. Thanks!

Me too! This was the only video to CLICK for me plus the slow motion and emphasis Knit off, purl on, purl off and knit on. 🧶

Exactly! I've always struggled with it and had to watch instructions over and over again. This description really made it cluck and now I actually know how to do it! My autocorrect is apparently thinking about turkeys and changed click to cluck and I'm leaving it 😁 Now I have a picture in my head about victoriously clucking turkeys because they finally learned how to kitchener stitch!

I agree, this is the best Kitchener stitch description. I had trouble with the sequence as well. The k off p, p off k really made a difference. Thank you for making my life easier 😉

@patbedford15712 жыл бұрын
Note to self: Be sure you do this method with wrong sides together (right sides up where you do the actual stitch) so you get the seam on the wrong side of the sweater not on the right side. So I have to undo the kitchener stitch for the second time because the first time I had one wrong side and one right side together. In my defense it is a dark brown/blue #5 Big Twist Static yarn. Also, don't do anything new on the actual garment. Make a test swatch.

I recently started learning how to knit socks and had so much trouble figuring out this stitch. I found this video and you made it really easy for me to understand. My Kitchener stitch finally came out right!! I love how you break every step down visually and at the same time verbally explain what you’re doing. Happy knitting everyone
