very informative series and some dope bass lines. How did you distinguish the different notes using the 16 levels function? and you also refer to a chord book in some of your other vids what might that book be again?

Hey man! Just wanted to say thank you for these good tutorials. Really helpful and inspiring! I also have a question for you. In these videos you use several different scales, does the sampled bass note need to match the scale which you decide to use, or is it just a matter of picking one of the scales and stick to the corresponding pads? Kind regards and love from Norway!
@Verysickbeats
@Verysickbeats 9 жыл бұрын
kamphare No, u can always tune the sampled bass but it greatly helps to match the sample as illustrated in this vid kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6Cpqax-jNeKiNk Also use the corresponding pads from #16padscalemanual only as a reference, u can use anything u want if it sounds good to u

I brought a couple of Ess books. I was thinking can you write a book that you would play notes in the same diagram(16 Pads) for like Rap or RnB notes. cause I don't know which notes to play. i'll pay a good chunk to understand. somehow, I'm understanding your 16 pads. But don't really know how to use the notes or majors. it's so many.

But doesn’t 16 levels spread the pads out chromatically? So if you don’t start your root note on C won’t that screw up all the notes?
