Vesko's Prismarine Towers Tutorial Part 1 - Straight Tower And Chains

Hey there I just wanted to make it clear that this first part is for the straight pillar variant and tomorrow, at the same time as I'm uploading this one, I will upload the second part for the Diagonal Pillar variant. I'm doing it in 2 separate parts because I didn't want to have a 40+ minute video and because I need some more time to edit the tutorial for the diagonal ones. I made a promise that it will be either yesterday or today, but I did the math wrong. Sorry for uploading only this part I just didn't want to disappoint people. The shader used in the video is Sildurs vibrant extreme 1.22.
If you want to get the same light color as me, change the emissive lights settings to red 0.8, green 1 and blue 1.
The resource pack is Vanilla tweaks.

A: It's a tutorial video. It's for those who want to attempt to build the pillars in their own worlds and these usually take hours, which means that people will pausing the video all the time, so there isn't really a point in having music. And for the rest of you, well, you can always just keep listening to your own music while watching. I intended on having the minecraft songs but I changed my mind. But if you people really want to, I will add them to part 2 tomorrow.

Just a tip for anyone building this thinking about the distance/spacing between the straight towers: The distance between the bottom-most blocks on two opposite towers is 196 blocks. For perpendicular towers, the distance between the closest corner bottom-most blocks of the two towers is 91 blocks in the X and Z axis.

Me and a brother have a base in our suvival world with a different block pallet and after seeing your base we desided to make pillars around the outside of the base so this came at the right time because i think ive gathered all the resources! Edit: we have decided we r gonna add a slight change to the pillars and remove the top little bit at 8:48

Very good for inspiration into my own builds. I'm doing something that's pretty different, but I'm doing so on an SMP world that will be locked and reset once the nether update is working properly in the settings the admin runs, but I plan on doing more impressive builds that take more advanced resources like this eventually. Atm I'm doing a series of 6 spiraling stone brick towers (since insta mining stone itself with silk touch is faster than afking the guardian farm) with an element of nether corruption utilizing nether bricks. But seeing your original towers was very helpful in learning how people do more abstracted builds
