Classic rides. My dad once had the Lamretta 150cc Lamby. The long stretched body and long front mudguard. This was my first scooter which I started learning to ride, it was heavy but balanced and rided like a limo.. ;) sadly the bike was stolen many years back. Still got some pics with me.

My wife bought me a restored Vespa just like yours. Or at least I think it's the same model as yours. It arrived last night and I've just been riding it around the village getting used to it. I stumbled across your video and I notice that you were filming in Rustington, where my dad lived until he passed away last year. Nice memories. Nice film. Happy new year!

Around 1974 My mates Brother had one of these locked up in his garage that He had owned since his days as a Mod back in the early 60's We were about 13 at the time and had no concept of age or rarity, to us it was just an old Scooter. He gave it to us, we rode it around the woods for a week or so and wrecked it. I wish we hadn't on reflection.

Lovely scooter n choice of colour. I like the wheel caps. Could you let me know where you got them from? I need n they did my 1971 vespa too. TIA

Thank you! The wheel caps came from ScootRS in Vietnam. The one thing I found was that I had to glue the centre-studs in place as they sometimes span, making it extremely difficult to remove the caps to change the wheel. All good now, though!
