Vespa GTS 300 HPE oil change for 10 minute
Change the oil of Vespa HPE 300.
I use Castrol Power 1 scooter 5W40 oil.
To clean the oil filter with the strainer I use an alcohol-based spray to clean the brakes.
Then I blow the oil filter with an air compressor.
I unscrew the oil plug with a torque wrench number 24 with 15-17 n / m of torque.
I tighten the new oil filter by hand.
After draining the old oil, I pour new oil before I screw the oil plug in order to wash the crankcase out of the dirty old oil.
To pour the new oil I use a funnel with a silicone hose.
I put an old kitchen tray under the bike stand.
Before draining the old oil, I let the Vespa work for 5-10 minutes to heat the oil.
After pouring the new oil, I check its level on the stick.
Vespa GTS 300 HPE collects 1,250-1,300 ml of oil.
I bought this vespa gts 300 hpe from the UK 3000 miles away. I checked with a Piaggio dealer so far it is not serviced. I drained only 600 ml of oil from the Vespa engine ...
My advice to all Vesapa HPE 300 owners is to monitor their oil level so as not to damage your engines.

You did a good job I do always put some extra new oil when oil is leaking till clean oil is come out. I have one questen did you drive in winter salty roads?your vespa engine parts metals a bit corosion. Keep up the good videos i like your videos🤙🏼

The oil bottles are the same, I put the oil filter in front of one. I clean the stand with brake disc spray, it is alcohol based and cleans the oil.

Says in the manual not to heat oil first. I’ve always done this however due to the viscosity it doesn’t need to be run hot.

The weather outside, despite the sun, was cold, and the engine oil has not been changed since it left the plant for 5,000 km. I wanted to have maximum viscosity and to carry with it all the metal particles from the engine. I guess you saw how black and cloudy the oil was ... As well as additionally before screwing the plug, I added 100 ml of oil to dispose of if there are any remaining metal particles and to wash the crankcase.

Always let run engine car traktor bike airplaine helikopter tank before oil change😄 because oil gets thinner when its warm so it comes better out of engine

Hi.. Why 5w90?.. My vespa 2013 models.. 30.000km... 10w40? 5w40? Which should it be? In summer, the air temperature in my country is 30 35 degrees. Winter 0 10 degrees.

I use Castrol Power 1 scooter 5w40! Look in the video. Where did I see that I use 5W90 oil... I don't know such an oil exists at all...

You can put 10w40. This is just commercial

​@@madisonscott4677 some use 10w60 hpe engines the first generation consumes alot of oil.dome 10w40 some 15w50. Normal i use 5w40 jaso ma2 oil
